Stunned he’s still here to be honest.
Maybe the two goals yesterday stayed the execution?

Mason is better than Ange for sure ...My conspiracy theory:
- I wonder if Levy hasn't signed anyone because he knows the way we're going might mean Ange is sacked soon, so he's not spending any money on helping the side for that reason, and will sack Ange in February to save himself spending any more money in Jan. Would be typical of him.
We are 1-0 up in a Cup SF against the best team in Europe as evidence it can happen
I feared a total humiliation at HT. 3-2 away is terrible to them. But not a result we'll have quoted back at us.Stunned he’s still here to be honest.

The year is 2061, Tottenham interim manager Ryan Mason is helped in to the dug out by volunteers from the ambulance service…Mason is better than Ange for sure ...
However ...
Mason will not bring a new manager bounce, and if Levy is lining up a replacement in the summer, and thinks "Ryan will be fine until then" ... I think he might end up in very serious trouble this season.
We need an external hire, interim or perm., asap.
This "we're still in the cups" argument really is the last refuge of those who cannot face facts and admit to changing their minds in the face of evidence.Would that be an argument if we'd lost every single game except for this one?
So is that on the standalone mitigant enough to bail out everything else?

It is far less compelling evidence that we WILL beat Liverpool than the evidence of:No but it is evidence that we can beat Liverpool and reach the final.
If we win said final, that would be success.
Maybe true but it is still evidenceIt is far less compelling evidence that we WILL beat Liverpool than the evidence of:
- league form this season of Tottenham and Liverpool
- cup form this season for Tottenham and Liverpool
- our record at Anfield
Lightning will not strike twice.
I was there in 95, behind the goal when Teddy and Jurgen scored

lol we can’t wait until February. Yeah, Levy, let’s lose to Leicester and Brentford first.![]()
It's not a major PSR issue for Tottenham - it simply shouldn't be a consideration given our limitsIt's a major PSR issue to sack your manager and then have to replace him. This is simply not just a purely footballing issue, Levy for sure is just hoping Ange can drag it out till the summer without getting hit by anyore ridiculous results.
