You really think we’d be 11th with a full squad plus Solanke?

We finished 5th without Solanke

Yes.
We literally were 10th place before any real injury issues.

How many times do I have to point out the actual facts. Also that with the rate we were getting points (yes with Solanke) we were on course to gather enough points for 8th-11th place finish.

Last season we finished 5th thanks to 26 points from first 10 games. A one-off feat that will never be repeated under current manager. As you know... the 5x equally long period has proved.

It was only two months ago

Well then. If it was only two months that we have to go back for a good result then that's alright. Just the 5 or 6 good results a year will do me just fine thank you. Don't want any more than that. Wouldn't want to be too greedy.
We are in real trouble here. Levy has fully brought the act like the fools here. This going to be fucking ugly....

We didn’t create the opportunities from those turnovers that we should have.

That’s why I said probably should have scored 2 goals

HAhahahaha. Okay. thats where I draw the line and got my answers really.

So you (and apparently Ange too) seem to think that "turnover in good position" = "goal"?

Yes. If that was the case, we would be in much better place. But that is not what happens in real world, mates.
No team on earth takes all of the chances they create. And if that is needed to be done to win decent amount of games, then very simply - this tactic is not good enough.

Your wasting your time. They have totally convinced themselves facts and evidence are a mere inconvenience to be twisted to support their veiw. Our XG is as good as Woolwich our injuries are the problem. It's a cult they won't wake up.

wont happen...I dunno why your clinging to this - Ange isn't up to this level. You cannot neglect the defence and expect to succeed in England ffs. We all know the real culprit is the bald goblin but, Ange is a woeful manager at this level.
If the form improves? Well, it can't really get worse when you're 19th in the PL over the past 10 games.

The hole digging abilities amaze me.

'Dr Tottenham' cures Everton - but Postecoglou desperately needs a tonic

oh ffs. Can't you see that there is a compounding effect going on?

The players haven't been properly coached now for 18 months.

Our only good players are those who have spent the least time under his horrible mis-management (Spence, Solanke, Gray, Bergvall).

We would be absolutely miles off 5th even with zero injuries.

I wouldn't I'd rather Sam Allerdyce at this point.
Would take big Sam over big Ange

I'd take David Pleat over Ange

I'd honestly be pretty close to taking Terry Venables over Ange and just letting the players manage themselves.

For the avoidance of doubt, I mean TV now, as opposed to when he was alive. Yes, it's a close call between a deceased competent manager and Ange.

Wait, are you saying it wasn't a bad move to sell Keane and Berbatov at the end of the transfer window, replacing them both with Campbell and that had absolutely no affect what so ever? Or am I reading it wrong

I didn't say that. It was a terrible window.
But league cup aside, Ramos was an awful coach before they went.
10 wins from 28 games WITH Berbatov and Keane. That's probably why the pair of them left.
Redknapp sorted that shit show out in no time. Ramos did nothing of any significance thereafter.
Literally walked in the to Real Madrid job somehow for 6 months then was sacked, few menial jobs ever since and nothing for 9 years.
He was the epitome of a journeyman coach. 18 jobs, all of which were 1-2 year stints.
There were rumours that the time the only reason his Seville side did well was the structure above him. Levy, in his infinite wisdom, took the wrong part of the success at that club.

We're actually at a point now, where our last 8 aren't much worse than Ramos' either.
He has the famous 2 points from 8.
We have 4 from 8 games and the same number of losses.
In fact it's 4 points from 9 games. 5 from 10.
We really are as bad as we were when we sacked Ramos.

I bet even then there were some fans who backed him and wanted him to stay. Just nowhere near as many as the insane Angebois we have now.

We are SO uncoached. It's possibly why the players aren't kicking off. Most of them probably love it. It's probably easy stuff. All mates and bantah.
Bentley would come out of retirement for that.
