He's got a contract for the USA national team until the WC in 2026 anyway, which I doubt he'll break.
Allegri isn't coming in on a 4 month contract, I wouldn't expect.
I'd rather have Mason in charge on Thursday than Ange. I'd give Mason until the end of the season unless we can get Iraola to come in, but there's no reason we can't get Iraola. We can blow his current salary out of the water. If he's still hung up on Bilbao, give him a free out to exit and take that job if it's offered. Just get him in the door as soon as possible.

I kind of felt the same, Everton had a new manager bounce in Moyes. These Europa games take their toll with a fully fit squad let alone a depleted one. Just the decision making on player selection and the constant slotting a square peg in a round hole doesn’t help Ange.

Levy creeps around that training centre like Dracula creeps around his vault. If he’s not haunting Ange by the hour I would be somewhat surprised.
Not true at all. Mason's stint in charge was better than what we've had under Ange. I completely believe Ryan Mason is better at this job than Ange.
If thats the reason we're waiting until we're out of the cups it does make sense.

I seem to remember the general feeling was he needed 6 pts from Everton and Leicester or 4 minimum. To get 0 is something special and yet he's still here and still a few hold outs defending him. I dont know if its inertia or madness that has gripped the club and fanbase but i've never seen anything like it.
True he's not. What was he even thinking going for Ange and Munn?
It's his duty to act now to break the negative trend that we've seen for well over a year. That Ange actually failed to qualify for champions league last year was remarkable given the head start he was given.
Ange didn't do anything for this club. Absolutely nothing. Levy being so passive is making this so much worse.
If nothing happens soon, we can also probably forget about last season, and many seasons after that.
We've seen how Man U have struggled to get back to the top after being mismanaged for years. Money won't save that.
For Spurs, it will be even worse because we'll never have that kind of money. Only by being smart can we compete, but it's not smart to make some unknown Aussies the people in charge of an elite football club.
