I have never seen a manager clash with his fans like this. There have been managers who have been verbally abused and they take it. Its part of the job when results are bad. What is to be gained from clashing with the fans? ou cant win a fight with the fans

Its League Cup or bust. literally, win the League Cup or its over.
The only other event in recent memory that I can remember were someone in the club had a go at fans was when Dier stormed the stands. And that was only because said fan was actively involved in some form of scuffle with Dier's brother.

This is twice or maybe even three times that Ange has actively had verbal arguments with the fanbase.

They are key players for bournemouth just because not as well known as ours. Probably arguing same side of the coin here👍

Every player in a PL squad is key to some degree but take Zabarnyi, Huijsen, their 3rd CB and their GK out for 2 months and make them play twice a week for those 2 months, are we really saying they are on the form they are on?

I really doubt it. I think Iraola is probably less stubborn than Ange and would have made more sacrifices to the way he plays for results though.

To Americanize this, you are making a comparison between a RB coach at an SEC powerhouse who everyone knows is just there to recruit players and has never shown any path upward to a coordinator or a head coaching job versus a decorated champion at D2 or D3 who has never been at a big time school.

The D2 guy may be utterly and transparently out of his depth when given a major job, and sure, maybe that's Ange. But that guy is a real coach and the recruiting ace isn't, and would do much worse still in a head job without enormous support.

If anybody thought Mason were a real coach he'd be in League One by now.

It's possible Ange could relegate us, but I doubt it, he's never shown anything close to that with anything close to a full team. Mason really could though.
Yup

Is Mason was any good, he'd be managing on his own somewhere by now.

He's comfy at Spurs

Not saying anything else on the bloke. Really bang average in my opinion but I just want him to do better whilst he is our manager.

Beyond that I just don't give a fcuk at this stage.

Club is unfathomable at present.

30 games 08/09 16 league. No goals. Not sure how many were subs.
34 games 09/10 23 league games. 3 goals. Again, how many were subs

41 games 10/11 30 league, 7 goals.

So yeah, Bale wasn't a goal machine and wasn't even a regular in the league for the bulk of Redknapp era.
Defoe, Crouch, Adebeyor, Van Der Vart etc all chipped in with plenty. Because we had a decent structure of play where we could attack AND defend.
