Big 10 days for Ange. Do or die for his future. Odds are he’s probably a goner but at its best Ange ball is the best football we’ve seen at Spurs in the PL era and it’s not close.

Sure, it’s risky and fragile when everything isn’t clicking and we are a mess atm but when it is, we’ve done it to every level of team and battered them.

Good God man. You’re off the reservation and halfway to the moon!

It’s nowhere near the best football we’ve played in the PL. It’s unsustainable, dickhead air guitar and I can’t fucking wait to see the back of it.

My point is that someone has to be Spurs worst manager from Burkinshaw onwards.

Gross got to a Champions League semi final with Grasshoppers and had a good rep before he joined Spurs. His right hand man and assistant manager, whose English was excellent, was refused a work permit after Sugar had done the deal to bring him in.

Gross was left to look a fool in front of the media and players who quickly rejected his leadership and credibility.

These things happen.

Ange has failed at Spurs. No argument about it.

No cup win can cover up the amount of defeats Spurs have suffered and the easy goals we are giving away to poor teams.

The defeats to Everton and Leicester have sealed his fate.

The 2 games a week has exposed Ange's tactics and the depth of the squad.

Ange was a huge gamble and his position is now untenable.

In 24 years this ownership and their business model has only produced 4 managers who have produced results at the level expected or just above 6th place. One of those managers was AVB who was never even popular with the majority of supporters.

13 managers have failed miserably.

It is ENIC that is the problem at THFC.

I don't blame Ange for accepting the job and the THFC supporters knew better than anyone that it was always going to end up this way.

It wasn't if but when.

The club has been dead since the miser sacked Poch.

ENIC are specialists in failure and there is now nothing to get hold of.

The Ange project was just the same smoke and mirrors, jam tomorrow, that has been peddled for 24 years.

ENIC are shit owners in respect of delivering a successful football team and trophies.

They have killed Spurs.

Not Ange.
ENIC have marched this club to the guillotine, and Ange himself has been the one to drop the blade, that’s how I see it.

Fair enough and i agree with you totally about the real villains of the piece. But i still think Postecoglou has no business being a premier league manager and would fail at better run clubs than ourselves.
I agree.

I just find it a bit sad that a man who has probably been promoted above his pay grade is now being insulted on a personal level about his social skills, his weight and other areas of his life when the blame for his appointment is the real issue.

Ange was a totally inappropriate pick as manager of THFC.

So was Gross.

Levy has now entered the same territory that Sugar was in before he was forced to appoint George Graham and sell the club to these cunts.

The unfolding sequence of events, that has led to this circus, has it's roots in the sacking of Poch.

Levy has made himself look more and more foolish with every managerial appointment since then while dismantling a team close to being successful and delivering a team that is now fighting relegation.

A strong leader anticipates what might go wrong and has a plan in place for such events.

Levy is now just reacting to his own terrible decisions and the club and the supporters are suffering; not Daniel Levy.

Levy should have been removed as chairman of Spurs when he was forced to sack Nuno and went cap in hand to Conte.

I would suggest that a strong board, of a PLC, would never have allowed that to happen.

Levy makes Spurs look amateur and shit.

enic and levy fucked around and found out with ange. it's one thing rolling the dice with established football people but they thought they could cheat code it with a backwoods mope who talked good in the interview and here we are. by a far their worst mistake ever hiring this clown.

At its best. That’s very different to what we are seeing now.

Unsustainable is an interesting choice of words. Remember when we started a season with great results playing Conte ball and everyone said that was unsustainable as well? Jamie Carragher told you not to like that football too and that Spurs fans should demand a more attacking brand of football.

I guarantee you there will be something wrong with the next managers football too. I’d even be willing to bet we hear that “unsustainable “ word again.

We just need to start not losing to absolutely shite teams!! That would be good!! Put my mind at rest.
I'd be slightly happier if that was the case, as we have more games against those teams.
But to lose against the likes of Ipswich, Palace, Everton, Wolves, Leicester, when they were in terrible form, is inexcusable, even with our injury problems. Even Coventry and Tamworth gave us a fright!
Yes football will always throw up a surprise result here and there, but this is beyond ridiculous. As I said in the Leicester match threads, any team playing us thinks they can get a result against us.

Gross kept us up.
Ange doesn't look capable of that.

Sugar, who all the ENIC fanbois love to slate, got Klinsmann, Dumitrescu and Popescu in to help with the points deduction. He sacked club legend Ossie when he realized he wasn't up to it and TOOK Francis from QPR.

What is the fanbois favourite doing to keep us up?
Literally absolutely nothing.

not getting a decent suit while living in london is his greatest sin.

Not having it.

Not allowing this phony idea to take root that Ange’s brand of football is the zenith. In that clip, I see two lucky challenges that went our way, flicks that could have gone anywhere and an ok finish. We moved the ball quickly, which is good.

Of all the myths around Ange, the most pernicious is that we should stick with him because his football is brilliant. It’s not. It’s gung-ho recklessness that has been ruthlessly exposed at this level.

That’s why it’s unsustainable. It’s shit.

There’s a lot of pressure on our CBs when they get back to the side.
Problem is scoring goals then.

Most if our attacking unit seems dead on its feet.

Going to be interesting watching Romero body language. Knowing there was talk of Real Madrid wanting him. Is he going to be looking around thinking WTF is going on and then start picking up random cards? Be a test of his temperament.

lol

Describe every good goal in history and you can say that if it fits your agenda.

much worse. Gross never went one win in 10. Near the start lost 2 in a row but never after that so that every other game we were at least picking up a point. Away at Barnsley and 1-1 and Vega gets a red. I really thought that might be it. They'd already knocked us out of the cup in a replay.
We were very lucky that we played Barcodes after they'd got to the FA cup final with nowt to play for. Those last 3 games we picked up 7 pts and only stayed up by 4.
Awful season, but this is currently worse.

people saying yeah but when we get the injured players back bla bla. The way Ange plays and trains there's EVERY chance they'll break down agin
Fuck this when we get injured players back. Look at the second goal on Sunday. We could replace Dragusin for Romero and VDV for Davies and that goal still happens. Fuck being a centre back or sitting centre midfielder for us. It’s utterly thankless. At that goal Sarr and Bergvall are in the position of where the striker should be and they leave Bentancur out to dry. I don’t blame them because it’s how Ange has asked them to play. We have the ball 10 yards inside our own half and our 2 more advanced midfielders Bergvall (25 yards away)Sarr (40 yards away) from the Leicester player that scored. If I’m Bentancur I’m going fucking ape shit at those two and the manager because that poor cunt got hung out to dry.

This goal sums up Ange and Levy should be shown that one clip and educated that this is the premier league and not under 12s football.

We could have the best 11 players in the world in this system and we’d still lose far too many games.

Ange has to go now because this is going to get worse before it gets better.

Nobody can tell Daniel Levy he is wrong without Levy baring a grudge and subsequently sacking them.

Levy is a weak, cowardly fool, surrounded by yes men, with a billionaire sponser, who has bullied some good people out of the club, while retaining his own position, salary, bonus and status.

Levy would sack Levy.

Levy deserves to be sacked.

Levy is ENIC.

ENIC is Levy.

I really don’t get how the manager can maintain such an air of arrogance given all of this. He’s there in his post-match talking about “context” mentioning how “only a few weeks ago we beat Liverpool here.”

It’s these little gems that make it hard to feel any sympathy for him over the injury crisis. Like you said, we should be beating these teams, no excuses, injuries or not.

Doubling down on this nonsense and acting like a fool only digs the hole deeper. He’s trying to convince us it’s all part of the “plan” and we will grow from this long term, I am not buying it whatsoever, it’a obvious to me now he is just out of his depth.

Spot on. I was kicking around the inertia with a non Spurs mate. He said it can only mean outside issue so take over, or go Occams razor Levy has surrounded himself with so much mediocrity there's operational paralysis. Men promoted beyond their ability now in a corner without the skills contacts and hustle to get players of quality in at short notice. Basically a Paratici shaped void. Villa haven't exactly hit a wall without Lange have they or City post Munn.
