Anybody can have an idea or a philosophy of how the game should be played.
I want to go with the 263 formation with an emphasis on doing as many keepy uppies as possible.
I need 2 of the front 3 to drop to FB when out of possession to dominate the middle of the park as much as possible.
Blah blah fucking blah.
It means nothing if you don't have players who have the plan absolutely drilled in to them. It also means nothing if it doesn't fucking work.

So anyone trying to say they think "Angeball" can be a success is on crack. It has been an utter failure and it's getting worse.
I like your rush goalie idea

Ange is a failed experiment. We need a change, but between Levy’s ability to fuck it up and most decent managers likely to swerve us I dread to think who comes next

Anyone want to pull together to get a group discount on being cryogenically frozen until 2030? Until we have a different manager, and Moore, Bergvald, Gray, VDV, and Vuskovic are in their prime?

Those players will probably be at City, Real and Barca in 2030, so keep an open mind to being disappointed by Spurs yet again, when we wake up

This notion of a "rebuild" or "project" seems to have been going on for about the last 5 years.

Is Ange even a project manager when he's hired at 60 years old? Surely you go for an up and coming manager if that is the case. Added to that he isnt the type of manager who stays for years at any job he's had.

Feels like all of this is just to lower the expectations of the fanbase to "we just want to see good football" or "but we're rebuilding," rather than being serious about bringing success on the pitch.

Great way for Levy and Co to keep the fanbase squabbling and deflecting from the appalling recruitment and management choices.

I do think, there's something to it. To Levy saying hold, hold, hoooooold, until Romero and VDV are back and seeing how things and results look.

I do also think, that the need for a Chelsea-asterisk is telling in its own right. At the time it felt like a complete fluke of a match, a minor set-back from which we would get straight back up. Looking back now, it seems more like a sign that our tactical set-up is simply too fragile for this level of football and can implode on any given day.

Speaking from experience? 😉

I think you are allowed to participate in the debate without calling people herpes mate, just a thought.

As much as you guys want to turn it into an echo chamber there's a debate and an open discussion to be had from everyone in here!

There’s no rational debate. It’s like trying to have a debate with people who think the earth is flat. They’re wrong. All sensible, rational people know they’re wrong.

We’re 15th going on 16th. It isn’t rational or normal to think this coach is the answer still. We just lost to Leicester at home. The situation is beyond diabolical. Anyone still behind him is blinded by fanaticism or refusing to admit they were wrong.

There is room for rationale debate, just not the debate you want to have and that's fine, you're obviously done with him - I get it.

Although you should think to yourself why the club are actually sticking with him and what I posted is what they're probably banking on otherwise he would have been sacked already don't you think?
