Changed his mind? He’s back to Ange in again and defending him.

Whatever annoys people most I guess.

I'm just sympathetic of his injuries and the current situation.

This is what I'm saying with this place, no one does any nuance in here and either have be on one extreme or the other.

What I actually want is for Ange to turn things around and prove everyone wrong, that would be great.

I totally get it, it's so infuriating!! If 90 per cent of the fans can see it ain't working why cant the powers that be. Dingo Wucka should have been sacked at the end of last season.
It's all about saving Levy the humiliation of firing Postecoglou. Basically, he hired a manager who isn't capable of managing at this level and he can't admit it. Now he also has a chance at the humiliation of being regulated. Both cost him money, but relegation would cost him more. It's now a matter of how close to relegation Spurs can get before Levy fires Postecoglou. I think anything under six point separation from relegation he has to do it. But, who knows, maybe he wants to go down with the ship.

Maybe Levy is happy to go down. He can then say "see, you moaned when I sacked them, so I showed you what happens when I don't"

He’s not 5!!

Let’s be honest with ourselves here.

Levy is not liked by other chairmen. A grudging respect maybe but not liked. It’s well documented.

Right now he’s never been in a worse negotiating position. Any chairman literally any of them can pull Levy’s pants down on any deal this January.

So I’m interesting to see what type of deal(s) we manage to get.

They we have the actual problem of replacing the manager. What position do you reckon Ange was on our list last time out? You’d think he was lower than 5th choice. Maybe closer to 10th. Was an insane amount of time it took to confirm a!new manager. He wasn’t 1st choice was he.

And the biggest issue.
Injuries. And a ridiculously small senior squad.
Will anybody be surprised if we lose Kulu or Porro, n the next week? They both look shattered.

Why would you sign up for this job if you have stable employment right now.

Negligence and naive behaviour has put us here.
PEH, Skipp, Parrott. All could have done some type of job during this run. We didn’t replace two of them due to gray and bergvall. Kids.
Parrott replaced by Lankshear. Who isn’t trusted.

When you look at the bigger picture you wonder what options levy actually has available right now.

I think unless you are a firefighter type manager or currently unemployed anyway you avoid this job like the plague. And see if we are still in the cups or just have the league to worry about.

I can understand why Ange would get the Liverpool and Villa game. It becomes a clean break then. If he’s out of both he’s failed completely.

So Levy has managed to create a position where he can’t do much but trust Ange with the football team short term. And trust the football people he has put in place to deal with transfers / scouting etc.

What a shit show we are watching unfold.

You can’t really scan for a sprain or a “knock”.

A lot of it is self reported and then physio’s have to do rehab to get them match-fit.

Anyone can fake a limp or a bit of soreness.

Doubt it’s happening though.

You could visibly see Sarr’s was legit but sametime, the best players in any sport can play through knocks and sprains without it being visible.

These days we have sports science and “red zones” before injuries. In the past players had much less physical load but they also just had to play until the injury was bad enough that they couldn’t.

I’d guess most of our squad is in or very close to a red zone right now

Let’s just say it’s easier to get ‘injured’ than go out there and play when it’s difficult. Forget about Ange I don’t trust some of these players either.

I think Emmanual Petit recently said the same. When he played and things where bad players suddenly found ways not to play. I don’t think it’s not being a bit injury as the desire and work to get fit and ready and sometimes play through the pain.
