I'm not a medical expert but would we not have been better off just sending Romero and VDV for surgery back in October/November and fixing up their issues? I see Woolwich sent white for surgery and he's going to be back for their next game. So he's going to bypass both romero and vdv for recovery. Saka went under the knife in December and he's expected back in March now. Imagine if he bypasses VDV and romero?

How are they both out injured for 3/4 months and no surgery needed? We seem to be the only club in the league not able to give players accurate timelines to recover and comeback.

And people on about us rushing back romero and vdv. What is this??? Should we just never play them again? It's amazing how many games they have missed. Its gone beyond a joke now!

I get really confused when people say we keep this manager to break the cycle of rotating managers.

I think more people than not accept the main problem is Levy. However if he isn’t going anywhere then what?

How far down does Ange have to drag us before some realise that BOTH the manager AND the owners can be a poor fit?

If he’s here next season, we will struggle to be any better than this, and I’m sorry, but I’d expect us to have another “unprecedented” injury crisis like we have this season… and erm… last season.

Do you think Iraola will finish 5th?
You do know he's managing Bournemouth? A club who have been in perpetual relegation fights along with an actual relagation over the the last few years rather than a club who have generally been top 7 for 20 years? One manager is about to give a club their best ever premier league season, the other the worst finish for 21 years. Could talk about the money each of them have had as well.

It’s not about rushing them back, it’s more a question of how we’ve handled the injuries. The fact VDV comes back and immediately doesn’t feel right is a bit worrying. Players get injured everywhere but ideally you rehab them to a point where when they do dome back, it’s final and they’re good to go.

Some of ours are like cars that keep breaking down every time the garage says they’re fixed.

Yeah, and he’s doing a cracking job and they’ve invested a fair amount of money on some really good players. My comment was only on that you can’t really compare the injury situations between the two clubs because of the heaviness of our schedule the last few months.

We'll lose tomorrow and he'll still be in a job. The club are desperate to make this work, it's why they had their external links to the club working overtime to push how his magic phonecall convinced Tel to come here.

If Everton didn't get rid of him I don't think villa will
You might be right.

It’s so odd that on this occasion a manger is being backed, when no evidence exists as to why he deserves to be backed.

Still a part of me that would love to see him turn this around and prove everyone wrong. That would be immensely great for everyone. But life doesn’t tend to actually be romantic, does it ?

I wouldn't say I'm an Ange outer, but it is remarkable how much bullshit and bluster there is behind him. Even Pochettino didn't have this level of fanboyism.

I've never known such a mediocre manager to have such a rabid group of fanboys defending his every word. You give Ange the slightest bit of criticism and you're told to fuck off, that you "haven't got the stomach for a rebuild", "you're what's wrong with this club" etc.
Lumiere Lumiere
It's genuinely scary on social media. There's this Swede call Hal Halenbeck...the blokes like one of David Koresh's followers at Waco. Completely denial that Ange can be wrong about anything. He'd give the bloke his kidney.
No different than the freaks that worship Levy
