Not Levy style though.

He’s going to be here for UTD and we will probably win that game at home. From there he survives the season in all likelihood
I think you're right. What does Levy get from firing Postecoglou now? I think he's ignoring the problem and running out the clock. The fans still appear to not want a change by about a 2-1 margin. So, looks like another season for Postecoglou.

Statement for Poch

In a statement released by Tottenham on Tuesday evening, Levy said: "We were extremely reluctant to make this change and it is not a decision the board has taken lightly, nor in haste.

"Regrettably domestic results at the end of last season and beginning of this season have been extremely disappointing.

"It falls to the board to make the difficult decisions - this one made more so given the many memorable moments we have had with Mauricio and his coaching staff - but we do so in the club's best interests.

"Mauricio and his coaching staff will always be part of our history. I have the utmost admiration for the manner in which he dealt with the difficult times away from a home ground whilst we built the new stadium and for the warmth and positivity he brought to us.

"I should like to thank him and his coaching staff for all they have contributed. They will always be welcome here. We have a talented squad. We need to re-energise and look to deliver a positive season for our supporters."

Statement for Mourinho

Chairman, Daniel Levy, said: "Jose and his coaching staff have been with us through some of our most challenging times as a Club. Jose is a true professional who showed enormous resilience during the pandemic. On a personal level I have enjoyed working with him and regret that things have not worked out as we both had envisaged. He will always be welcome here and we should like to thank him and his coaching staff for their contribution."

Statement for Conte

We can announce that Head Coach Antonio Conte has left the Club by mutual agreement. We achieved Champions League qualification in Antonio’s first season at the Club. We thank Antonio for his contribution and wish him well for the future.

You can see the trajectory here. Sad to sack Poch, gushing of emotion. Thankful for Mourinho coming, sad it didn't work.
To literally "jog on"

I can only assume his exit interview was mental and a lot of shouting occurred.

I actually dread to think what nonsense statement we get for Ange.
I reckon it'll be very long and focus a lot on the first ten games of last season. Because lets face it, he and his cult have been dining out off those 10 games for 18 months.

I think Levy thinks we're too good to go down and, that having a few injured players back, we're immune from it.
Wait until the summer, see if any major turn arounds occur, if not, sack him then.

The problem with this is many
Fans losing interest.
Club becoming less appealing than ever for next manager and new players
The genuine threat of players never fully returning from injury leaving us genuinely at threat of relegation
A negligent coach causing a career ending injury to a player due to overuse/returning too soon

Disgrace and embarrassment keeping thus failure but honestly fcuk it. Stay up and I have little doubt we will and Captain Pugwash or David Brent could be at the helm.

I think the club might be in the midst of being sold or there is already an agreement in place with someone for next season.

I've read similar things about how he doesn't take an active part in training. And instead prefers to observe.

Not that he sits in his office, but he keeps his distance and sits on the sidelines.
Players say he isn’t friendly with them, doesn’t talk directly to them one on one and that he’s not on the training pitch. And obviously doesn’t do tactical work. Radu and Dier interviews have been very similar.

No chance.
They're just ignorantly unaware as to how bad things really are. They've bought the injury excuse hook line and sinker. They're as delusional as some of the posters on here.
Which terrifies me. Because if that's true, they'll probably throw another £100m at him in the summer and it'll all happen the same way again.
