End of the day, if we finish strongly, he's earned another season, hasn't he?
I'm not that entrenched in Ange-out that we could win the ropey league and increase our PPG to top 4 levels in the remaining games and still want him gone.
My view is he simply can't do that, so it's not a situation I would have to deal with.
He needs to go...full stop.

Hey Matt1882 Matt1882 - Dudu doesn't like your negativity and wishes you would simply go away and not post rather than bring your point of view into his forum. Would you mind self-censoring for the sake of his mental wellness?
At least he hasn't brought any authorities to support his case... Yet

Why you trying to start beef bro! Me and Matt1882 Matt1882 are getting on just fine.

You can be as negative as you want mate - go for it - whatever makes you feel better.

I guess the context is different here - I was ok with the shit football under Conte as part of the process - but the players clearly not and he was just adding to the toxicity constantly.

If you don't want Ange here, and you think he will probably be gone at the end of the season then winning whatever games we can good, bad or ugly - id image you (not you - the royal you) would be too jaded right now to not care - i mean, especially jaded enough to not log onto football forum and type a load of shit you have typed before about how much you hate him and how shit we are - especially after a win.

I guess the one issue is that if he keeps winning games while we are playing shit - he might just get another crack next season
If he keeps winning keep him!

I'm Ange out, but it's not some weird fundamentalist position, it's a response to our results.

Right now I certainly think he should be sacked, but if he now goes on a monster run and wins the EL and finishes top 6 then there's obviously a strong argument for keeping him, and I'm sure we would.

More likely we end up in more swampy ground ... finish (say) 10th and lose in the EL QF/SF. If that type of scenario happens, then I say get rid. As long as we can get someone better (which I'm sure we can).

Would have to agree with all of this!

Man's just fucked off 'cos his actual team have fucked up winning the league once again this season....🤷‍♂️

Or fucked off because I'd rather get back to a time when we were laughed at for "fucking up" title battles rather than fucking up finishing ahead of Fulham and Brighton.

Silly me though, we won a game of football after a week of going out of all domestic cups, so we should all pretend to be optimistic about things now.

Maybe....but Fulham and Brighton are decent teams with great managers, and Brighton have just beaten Chavski twice in a row, so finishing above them would be a decent achievement from here yes....

......it won't happen though....🤷‍♂️

He's certainly not at it. a decent player on his day for sure but can't understand why he can't get subbed or why people insist on him being our best player when he's be terrible the last month except for a couple of good moments.
Tbh I’d much rather have MADDs than kulu. At least he can beat a man with skill, has better passing, looks to get on the ball and turn and can take a great free kick. As a foootballer his much better. I’d take the money for kulu and go and get top quality attacker. I’d clear out him, Richi , BJ , Werner and listen to good offers for Sonny. We still have Solanke, Wilson, Moore, Yang to come back and then go and spend big on really quality. We also have donley who play in that play maker role.

Old mate Ange set a marker around 2 weeks ago that this match was the relaunch. And whilst it was anything but pretty, job done. Effectively he is saying, judge me and the team, when we have the players on the pitch.

For the punters on here who now whinge about the optics of this game, versus celebrating with joy, that we've done a double of Man U, you don't really get how hard it is for athletes to come back and be rolling 100% in their first game back. Specifically the pace of the game and then the continuity with a few new faces on the pitch. It's something to consider when evaluating the team (or any team).

Start to get continuity and the team will start humming...
Think Ange has opened his gob again too much. What happens if we are still bumbling along, losing games we should win, still carved open at ease ( not a lot gets says about this to him) and out of EL? Will he then say players arnt yet fully fit or something. You just know the goal
posts will mo e. Everyone said MADDs played well until being subbed. He was only out 3 weeks or so. Bet if he has a couple of average games people will say it takes time to get back to top levels.

I just find it so hard to understand how we have regressed so badly over time. Even in the very first friendly matches we played under Ange, I could see his style of play already.

He can keep blaming the injuries but I really don’t see any resemblance of ‘Angeball’ any more. I can’t imagine players coming back will solve that element. He seems to have lost any idea of the style of play he wants to enforce.

We were told it would be quick tempo, relentless intensity and pinning the opposition back.

All I really ever see is us labouring in possession and only ever looking dangerous when we scrape away a clearance and go on the counter.
It really is AVB levels and relying on moments. Hence why we never look good for 90 mins never mind 45. We have played well for say 20 mins in some games. Villa first half we were shite. 2nd half 20 min spell and they got player sent off. Spam first half average then we blitzed them start of 2nd. Many games are like that which is not sustainable.

Only out for for 3 weeks?... I interpret that comment that he should be able to work at 100% capacity on game day? Have you ever been out for 3 weeks, done the rehab and then played 90minutes of football and run 10km at high intensity without fatiguing?

What happens if we're NOT bumbling along.. .

The inability for the majority of posters in this thread to understand nuance and context of injury, subsequent rehab, reintergration into the team and causational effect on performance astounds me... but then again, I guess not.

It's like its 1980's group think on here.

Get over yourself it's fucking football not Sartre

If you want to look at it that way sure. I'd argue we'd be a lot higher up the table if we didn't have all them injuries.

If we had a full squad all season and we were in the bottom half of the table then yes he'd 100% have been sacked. But thats not been the case. You can say the injuries saved his job but I think we'd be at least 10 points better off if we didn't have even half the injuries.

Sure look at the difference Vicario (missing for over 3 months) and Maddison made yesterday!
May be but but MADDs has only been missing since Leicester game. Before that when fit he was often on the bench. So it’s a bit revisionist to claim we have him back now.

I’m watching the First Contact series on Six Nations and the Italy coach never even had a question in his mind about starting his captain with broken ribs 🤣

Football and Rugby are just different worlds. From the teams to the media to the way the fans look at it.

I have read that people in the know say the players have not given up on ange and he hasn’t lost the dressing room. I think this is true so when he does get sacked in may he has nobody to blame but himself.
A better coach could win us that Europa league. It’s only 4 wins and three draws .
He will blow it in the first leg away from home.
