You are correct it was John Sattler. I'm a Saints man but they don't much better than Johnny Sattler.
I've been Saints for 50 years brother.
Agree re Sattler.

His feet up? We’re in 12th fucking place, 13 points off Europe. For fucks sake the standards in this fanbase are beyond pathetic.Postecoglou must know that Saturday is the game where he can lift the remaining pressure.
Like Slot yesterday, who for me is beginning to show some interesting traits, Postecoglou should know that beating ipswich would bmake it an improbable and unexpected 9 points from 9, and allow next Wednesday to be of minimal real importance.
It's all about the psychology of it and so what we need to do, is effectively be professional, get on the front foot and show in our way the clinical authority that Real Madrid showed last night.
By Saturday evening, Postecoglou could be sitting with his feet up for the first time in a while.
I mean, its not even hidden -
the amount of times I've hear a commentator praise players for how well they 'bought a foul'
its part of the job
Another thing is the surrounding of referees... take a leaf out of rugby, if you're not the captain and you have approached me aggressively or otherwise then yellow card. You now have 3 seconds to walk away... if you don't and continue mouthing off... boom... second yellow and off you go. Captain can approach the referee and have an adult discussion whenever he wants but if he gets gobby... boom red card and vice captain is now in the spotlight... might finish a few games 8 a-side but after a while the players will get it. Mic up the referees as well... soon embarrass those players.

That itself should tell ya something..I didn't say it was good enough did I?
There must always be context.
2 or 3 weeks ago, we were shitting ourselves over relegation. Win tomorrow and that disappears.
All I am saying mate.
That you get your panties in a twist for no reason? Anyone with any sense would not have thought we were getting relegated with players coming back.
TLDR: rotations. This is something a Spurs head-coach - and his coaching staff & medical staff - should have known from day 1 and not take almost seasons to figure out! Ok, at least he's ready to change the routine this really shows his lack of experience with top-level coaching

Ange Postecoglou has explained the reason behind the bold call he made this week, opting to give his Tottenham players extra time off ahead of the Ipswich Town clash.
In the past six months, Tottenham Hotspur has been competing on four fronts. The Lilywhites have featured in the Europa League, Premier League, FA Cup and went all the way to the semi-final of the Carabao Cup.
Ange Postecoglou gives Tottenham squad two days off
With the Lilywhites now out of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, the amount of games left for the north London club to play has significantly reduced.
Instead of playing every three days, Tottenham Hotspur now have periods where they have a complete week to prepare for a game.
One such time was this week, were the manager handed a few days off to his players ahead of their clash against Ipswich Town.
When asked why he decided to do so, Ange Potestocoglou told football.london: “I think it helps enormously because, I mean, there’s obviously the physical toll, which we kind of know and just their bodies being able to recover as much as anything else.
“And then, you know, like I said, mentally it does. It takes its toll because you don’t invariably get a lot of time to switch off when you’ve got games constantly because, again, you’re in recovery mode and then you’ve got to prepare for another game.
“You don’t really have the energy to do anything else. So, you know, home life probably suffers a fair bit and the ability to switch off is difficult. So we gave the boys two days off at the beginning of last week. We did a similar thing this week.”
Spurs players are clearly benefiting from days off
After handing his players a couple of days off against Manchester United, the Lilywhites managed to secure a narrow 1-0 win.
Ange Postecoglou now believes that his players are benefiting from having a few days off, he continued: “And yes, I think you can see that in them that both physically and mentally they’ve really benefited from it.
“And sort of hopefully that means that the remnants of that long run has dissipated in their minds as much as in their bodies.
“But it’s also allowed us then to really train well because when they do come back in, they’re refreshed, they feel good and it means our training has become so much more sort of meaningful in the last two weeks.”
Playing Three games every eight days doesn't give a lot of room for time offThis is something a Spurs head-coach - and his coaching staff & medical staff - should have known from day 1 and not take almost seasons to figure out! You're having a laugh! Lack of experience at top level? The entitlement of the EPL followers... who think their league is somehow magically different to all other leagues that play a similar amount of games...and thus the process is magically different.Ok, at least he's ready to change the routine this really shows his lack of experience with top-level coaching
The few wins we do have aren't due to AngeThere's a fine line between grinding out wins and fluking them. Throughout their careers the likes of JM and Conte have never had much problem racking up wins despite serving up some of the worst football you'll ever see. Due to how difficult scoring is compared to keeping the opponent from scoring, keeping things tight at the back and hoping for a lucky goal yields better results than going gung ho and simply trying to outscore the opponent. The aforementioned two take this simple reality about the game to an extreme, but many managers intuit this. There's a reason why we see more 1-0s and 2-1s than 4-3s and 5-4s, and why Anges of the footballing world are true outliers.
In contrast, someone as style over substance as Ange is, one whose approach is built on playing the opponent off the park on a given day, won't get away with crap football for long mainly because he always sets his teams up as open as can be. As a result the outcome of a match is usually decided by who is more clinical or fortunate in front of the goal, a process resembling a coin flip. Clean sheets against United and Brentford were not due to us being more neat and tidy than usual. They were wasteful more than anything.
The fact that we're winning despite playing poorly doesn't mean that we're grinding out results. We're just fluking them. How long will this continue before we come back down to earth? Not sure.
Ahhh the all loses are Anges fault, but the wins aren’t due to him, that’s the players.
Consistency. Something we’ve not shown in his 18 months here.Ahhh the all loses are Anges fault, but the wins aren’t due to him, that’s the players.
You don’t have to like Ange but at least be consistent.
1. Ange does lack experience at the top level... that is facts and it shows. You're having a laugh! Lack of experience at top level? The entitlement of the EPL followers... who think their league is somehow magically different to all other leagues that play a similar amount of games...and thus the process is magically different.
Again, how is it possible to rotate when you've got 3 games a week and limited players.
It's a nothing piece of literature that... It would have been earmarked months ago as to when he/the high performance management team can give players a rest...
