Yeah I'm not sure.

But I don't buy the whole, if this happened or that happened then we would have lost when folks don't take the time to talk about how the sitters we've missed, the blinders oppo goalies played and the deflected goals against us are valid excuses as to why we didn't deserve to lose.

At this level that is how you win games. Fine margins. I've watch a fair amount of prem this season and every game is full.of these moments.
 
We deserved to win all 3 games. Not the issue. Not that 'deserving' to win a game even matters much, you either win it or you don't, missing a chance isn't unlucky.

But it won't last, which is the issue. Although this is probably the most consistent we've been in the league for ages, which says a lot about the standards over the last year or so.

But again, this will not last. Feel free to bookmark it.

My Saturday

90 minute cardio workout whilst watching Renfield.

Pop to Lakeside with the daughter to go bowling and hit the arcade, then have some lunch.

Back home to watch the football.

THEN gave the car a wash

THEN cooked dinner.

THEN watched Bob's Burgers the movie with said daughter.

Now got my feet up watching Alien Romulus.Romulus

So I think it's safe to say, I've made use of my Saturday.

How weird, we was bowling at lakeside today between 1 and 2 pm.
Then went for something to eat alongside the lake, got in to watch the second half.
 
Read all my comments and posts. Once we get our players back and get some rest, we'll start winning games again. None of this relegation hysteria. Just facts. Looks like I was right? Even though I was laughed at for suggesting this break would turn our season around.

This place is toxic and they'll cancel me. They laugh at me. I'm just a naive spurs fan who thinks things might turn out OK. What a fool

Depends on what you mean by last…

Are we winning every single PL game for the rest of the season? I think you’d struggle to find a Spurs fan out there expecting that to happen.

Yeah you did this whole "Look at me, I was right after all" schtick multiple times already this season after we scraped together a good result or two.

It's embarrassing how early some of you go. We've switched on and dragged ourselves out of a relegation fight, well done to us. Now some much harder fixtures to come to pull ourselves out of mid-table, and to fight for the only competition we're still in.

We will not win the Europa League and we will still finish 10th or below. Does that do it for you? Or essentially, the season overall will be viewed extremely negatively when it closes, and Ange will end up losing his job. Nothing in the last 3 wins has remotely come close to changing that opinion for me.

That seems to be your fallback when you're shown up as wrong, accuse the other poster of picking an argument.

Maybe you should take your own advice? I can think of a lot of better things to do that talking tosh like you are.
 
We're in the difficult "wait and see" period. True we've won 3...True We're not going to get relegated...but in my view, we will never be more than average with this guy...if he wins a few I'm happy...but I'm cognisant of the fact that a few wins will bring him more time to keep us middle table standard...I really can't see him taking us to the top or even the top 4...I don't want them to be average throughout our next season...it's very difficult to know what to wish for...
