I don't care about being proven right, that's nothing to me. I just don't want to have to watch another year of AngeBall. My fear is that he'll be back next year and it will be more of the same on the pitch and in the pressers. This has been one more miserable season.

Sure Keith Burkinahaw was moved on after he won this tournament for us in 1984. It was a far stronger tournament in 1984 than it it now and the General had a lot more credit in the bank than Big Ange.

His tactics were actually spot on against Bodo. Sometimes we do better when we overly respect the opposition. It's just hard to know if our team is going to lose by 2+ goals or win by 2+ goals and generally we lose except for Europe.
My point is I still don't get how we can be randomly tactically perfect in a small percentage of games and not the vast majority, from a defensive point of view, at least in the league.

Our primary issue has been down to individual mistakes, rather than significant tactical errors.
It's no accident that we look far better when our team is made up of our experienced players. Udogie @ 22 was our youngest starter last night, but still has bags of experience.
Gray, Spence, Bergvall, Tel, Odobert, Moore, Kinsky, Dragusin are great young players, but aren't yet experienced enough to be playing significant minutes at this level.

Look at the starting team that beat Man City 4-0 away though. Our results literally make no logical sense. Injuries and youngsters isn't the only factor. That said, I know Udogie is young and Italian, and he did get a bit overly emotional tonight, which is fine if we win but I'd probably try and correct it if we lost.
I think our team makes less individual errors if our full backs and wingers are more disciplined. But our results are too varied and volitile and we change winning line ups too often to pin point a lot of the issues.
Yeah I've been away a while but I've noticed not much has changed.
If he wins a trophy in his second season then a lot of people will have to eat tbeir words. Easy to taunt but he will have proven a lot of people wrong
