The reason he is still here is because he can achieve Levy's target. And if he does that Levy won't give a shit about the EPL, the fact any sensible Spurs fan wants him hunted, he will still be here as Levy will believe Wombat Carl will be loved for finally winning something.

But when some of the fans wanted to lose to city in a meaningless game so the gooners didn’t win the league he made a massive meal out of it as that’s not what he is about , he wants to win every game regardless………..

Each season is a reset. Our playing staff may not be contenders as champions, but a reset with the right appointment, with a structure that brings the best out of what we have, can seriously change the landscape.

EL win or not, there is a snowball's chance in Hell that he gets another season, that simply cannot be justified after losing 20 matches in a 38 match season.

My concern is not about whether he's with us next season, it's who will be. I like Glasner and think he's done a seriously good job with CP, but £17M to buy him out of CP? I highly doubt that's going to happen. Silva? Not for me, his Fulham are a bit flakey. Iraola? He's good, but Bournemouth's injuries are eerily similar to our own, so I have reservations there. Frank? He's probably next after Glasner for me. Then there's Poch. I've thought about this for a while and actually think he'd do well with us yet again, so long as he's abandoned that feckin midfield diamond idea that heavily contributed to his downfall.
All of the above seem to have some fairly hefty release clauses, so it's anyone's guess which of those it will be, or if we go off piste again for a relative unknown.

Leicester reverted to being shit very rapidly after that. They had 3 players of real quality that season, everyone underestimated them, and all of their other players outside vardy, mahrez and kante who were of actual quality had the freak seasons of their lives. Forest are having a freak season currently too. Teams that lose 20+ games a season aren’t good teams having a down period. None of the other “top 6” have ever lost this many games, even when Chelsea had their awful season under potter they didn’t lose this many games, arsenals joke years late under wenger, under emery and early arteta only lost like 13 games in their worst period. Good teams don’t lose this many games and get played off the pitch home and away like we do, shit teams do.
