It’s even worse if you watch the interview btw .. he makes our the interviewer is a thick cunt for not knowing what he’s implying when he says he thinks it’s very clear why the league form is bad.

Just an absolute arsehole of a man. Can’t believe I felt sorry for him a while ago. He’s absolutely pathetic.
Someone needs to put him in his friggin place.

Fat fuck thinks he's God's gift to football when he's an absolute clown with the tactical nous of a doormat.

What a horrible person too.

Whats quite clear is he knew he was toast from about mid February so has lumped everything on trying to get a cup so he can act smug and Billy big bollocks about the trophy in his 2nd season schtick that he boxed himself in with 8 months ago. He just wants his fuck you moment. He's given up on the league so the players have given up on the league. Compare with Palace who have a final in 6 days. But then they have a professional manager with a bit of pride whose ego doesnt rule everything.
But when some of the fans wanted to lose to city in a meaningless game so the gooners didn’t win the league he made a massive meal out of it as that’s not what he is about , he wants to win every game regardless………..

For a bit of context here, the season before Leicester won the PL, they barely managed to stay up, then were 5000/1 odds to win it.

This is an example to show that it doesn't really take all that much time to undo the damage done.

Each season is a reset. Our playing staff may not be contenders as champions, but a reset with the right appointment, with a structure that brings the best out of what we have, can seriously change the landscape.

EL win or not, there is a snowball's chance in Hell that he gets another season, that simply cannot be justified after losing 20 matches in a 38 match season.

My concern is not about whether he's with us next season, it's who will be. I like Glasner and think he's done a seriously good job with CP, but £17M to buy him out of CP? I highly doubt that's going to happen. Silva? Not for me, his Fulham are a bit flakey. Iraola? He's good, but Bournemouth's injuries are eerily similar to our own, so I have reservations there. Frank? He's probably next after Glasner for me. Then there's Poch. I've thought about this for a while and actually think he'd do well with us yet again, so long as he's abandoned that feckin midfield diamond idea that heavily contributed to his downfall.
All of the above seem to have some fairly hefty release clauses, so it's anyone's guess which of those it will be, or if we go off piste again for a relative unknown.
Leicester reverted to being shit very rapidly after that. They had 3 players of real quality that season, everyone underestimated them, and all of their other players outside vardy, mahrez and kante who were of actual quality had the freak seasons of their lives. Forest are having a freak season currently too. Teams that lose 20+ games a season aren’t good teams having a down period. None of the other “top 6” have ever lost this many games, even when Chelsea had their awful season under potter they didn’t lose this many games, Woolwich's joke years late under wenger, under emery and early arteta only lost like 13 games in their worst period. Good teams don’t lose this many games and get played off the pitch home and away like we do, shit teams do.

No they didn't. They went on to win the FA Cup and had 2 seasons where they were on the cusp of requalifying for CL under Rogers. They went to shit when their owner virtually went pop due to COVID.

See above, and that was after selling both Kante and Mahrez.

Maybe so, but both them and Leicester are proof that it doesn't take "seasons" to address their issues.

None of which has anything to do with the point. Issues can be addressed quickly if the right structure is in place.

So what?
Good teams don’t lose this many games and get played off the pitch home and away like we do, shit teams do.
Poor management, setup, multiple injuries all add up. To just label it as a "shit team" is narrow minded. This team may not be a challenger, but it's better than it is currently showing.

Is this guy for real???
Wait... 🤔

“I think not having European football this year probably hurt us a little bit in terms of our development.”

Hang on a minute... 🤔

Back in Europe

Ange was asked how much he's looking forward to being back in European competition...

"I am really pleased to be back there and excited to be back in it. I spoke about it last year that it was a real gap in our calendar and didn't help us at certain times of the year not having regular football, that challenge of playing different types of opposition and exposing our whole squad to some meaningful game-time. And the worst thing was sitting around watching other teams play in it. It didn't sit right with me so being back in a European competition is important."

The paper talk, for what it's worth, appears to be floating Terzic again. There was obvious success at Dortmund, but he's a difficult character by all accounts. That said, he plays a 4/3/3 which favours possession. The problem with Franks, Glasner, Iraola et al, is that for all their undoubted competence, their setup is broadly defensive, with triggered pressing. It's supposedly not what we're looking to develop as a club.
I sort of feel like we’re a natural back three team. With Romero, VDV, Danso and then throw Porro and Spence at wingbacks we could be leathal

That Leicester side that won the fa cup and competed under Rodgers was a completely different side that was rebuilt like 3 years after the title winning team. Just like our side will need to be rebuilt over years.

Also the fact that your acknowledging that Leicester had and forest are likely having freak seasons is surely proof that it does take seasons to rebuild a poor side? Otherwise they wouldn’t be freak seasons, they’d be sides capable of maintaining consistent challenges (like the rebuilt Leicester under Rodgers, where they clearly wanted to build something more lasting unlike the freak title winning team that was unsustainable)

I look at this club over the last 5 years and I see 2 halves of seasons where we played sustainable, consistently good football: second half of 21-22 season under conte, first half of 23-24 season under ange. Everything else has been largely shit if we’re being honest and we’ve been massively bailed out by having Kane in the side and in-form Son at times. Now Ange has been horrific don’t get me wrong, but it’s lazy to suggest that 20 fucking losses in a season is purely down to a manager. That’s down to a shit mentality, a lack of quality AND shit tactics. This team is done, and we’re in for a rude awakening next season if we go into the market thinking that it will take us back to the promised land. That is unless the ambitions have changed and challenging for the top 4, titles and UCL is no longer what we want?

I was at the game and was just astounded at the time. What was mad was that we could have got something from the game after having the players sent off. We had two decent chances, with one hitting the bar. Had we defended properly we could have got something out of the match with a little luck. I left before the end as had to catch the last train home so missed most of that shit show but saw more than enough before I left.

I think too much has been read into this game

It was his admittedly stupid way to test the belief the players had in his philosophy.

The fact that we created the chances playing that way instead of defending with 9 behind the ball would have vindicated it in his mind.
