keeping him kills us. the league results have been shocking since 9 men chelsea and they aint getting better because we beat the worst united side ever in a final.I said a few times on this board over the past couple of months that I thought if we won the EL, Ange would be kept on. I still think that. It's a massive win for the club. Feels like this restores some much needed prestige, glamour and appeal to the club? I also think it's likely to go horribly wrong next season!
There's a decent chance it actually will be the pinnacle of their club careers. What % of PL players actually get to win the PL or the CL?You are MASSIVELY under-rating the importance of it.
there are 3 trophies for most teams in the prem to have a chance to win each season - two of which -one of 2 clubs have really won over the last 10 years.
Winning trophies is rare for 95% of clubs, including us.
We won it was fucking massive man. give this nonsense a rest and get your head out of your ass.
NO ONE is saying they are feeling like this is the pinnacle of their playing careers that they should strive for, but for man,y it is the pinnacle of their career so far. Who are you to take that away from them? PATHETIC LOSER MENTALITY
No offence (I'm not your mate so I won't call you that .. how about cunt?) but I literally couldn't give a single shit what you think, in fact I didn't read past the first few sentences, that's how little regard I have for your views and frankly your person in general.

I reckon Levy will get one of his Fan Forum things done in pretty short order now. Got our Tottenham back stuff. It's a narrow window of opportunity over the summer.keeping him kills us. the league results have been shocking since 9 men chelsea and they aint getting better because we beat the worst united side ever in a final.
well see if levy really thinks hes operating at a big club here. because keeping him would be seriously small time.
"loser mentality" is being fine and dandy with getting turned over 21 times in a season. "loser mentality" is doing a favour to a guy because finally we can be the chirpy cunt to our mates. "loser mentality" is saying you couldn't even contest winnable home league games against relegated sides because you "had to prioritise the Europa league".You are MASSIVELY under-rating the importance of it.

Glasner is about to extend his contract.
But for argument sake, that is getting closer to the type of profile you would need to stand a chance.
IMO Glasner isn’t worth the risk. Hes won EL but so have we now. Why take a gamble on a sideways step?
Where do you think Ange would finish with that Palace side?Glasner is about to extend his contract.

All of you just need to take a fucking minute to enjoy the trophy. I cannot grasp how this moment has become a massive cunt off about who is right about what and who.
And there's certain cunts on here deliberately pouring petrol on the fire and they know who they are.
Read the room you little rat, look around you. Everyone fucking hates you.

This cup win is amazing, I was just as happy as anyone, my old man has waited his whole lifetime to see us lift a European trophy again and I'm more happy for him than anyone. But this doesn't erase the last 9 months in the league. We will go the way of Everton if we don't do something about it now.
I know it's great isn't it xx
Anyway back on topic, here's a lovely pic for you and for everyone we can all get behind:

I really don’t want to put down winning this competition and what it means to this fanbase, especially as I’m getting ready soon to head to the parade. But taking the emotion out of it, does us beating Man Utd who we had already beaten 3 times this season really mean we’re going to suddenly start performing consistently in the prem ?What makes you all so sure that Ange is going to fail next season in the prem?
Surely there is a part of you that sees we are breaking new ground here and that just maybe, we can reach new heights with a full squad and full buy in with a now winning mentality.
The main point I want to make is, it's okay to be wrong. It's okay for you to be wrong thinking Ange wasn't the guy, and to give him a chance. And it's okay for me to be wrong, thinking he is, and to eventually part ways if he's not and it doesn't work out.
But isn't it worth the risk to try? To dare is to do, isn't it?
I'm not saying it means nothing to them. I'm saying if you think the players would be incapable of contextualising the reasons for why he should go, and come to some level of understanding on behalf of the club and fans that it's for the best interests of the club, as highly, HIGHLY paid professionals, you're romanticising the relationship they've built with Ange in favour of actual cold, hard logic. 21 league defeats is that cold, hard logic. This is great for them, great for Ange, great for the fans. It's time to part ways and find a serious manager. There is no way we can build sustainable success getting turned over in more than half our league games, we are not going to get a run to a final that favourable again in a long, long time. We were insanely lucky to come up against a United side who are, on balance, even shitter than we are, despite being a point above us.No one is saying it erases anything, bro. You are pontificating that winning a trophy over 95% of pro footballers will never win wont mean absolutely everything to the players?
Absurb - you are projecting.
It doesnt mean that much to YOU because of our league position.
It will mean everything to our group of players. absolutely everything - in many ways, because of attitudes like you have put across here.
It's not a sideways step. Our wage budget is about 1/3 of Frankfurts, we entered this competition as favourites.
Glasner, in the same environment (prem) has beaten Ange home and away, finished on far more points, his team actually look coached and he's won a trophy too.
You think this picture makes me mad? I was telling people on here on Wednesday night that they need to get a grip and start being positive and start to believe. I also stated that I hope Ange rubs the journos noses in it. I still do not think he’s a good manager but I was sure happy for him on Wednesday night
