Yet still a better manager than Ange if we want to make a change.Ok, I stand corrected. But he's not really relevant anymore, he's in the Saudi league lol. Hasn't really won anything since the 2020 Euros.

Ok. Again, why do you care? Do you think someone out there is going to make a point that encourages you to change your mind? Are you looking for keen and sharp debate?Just curious, since the Ange innies have been rampant the last few days, if a return to our regular form has had any effect on their thinking
That’s not what your remit was. PL experience and trophies.
I don't agree that Premier League experience should have any bearing. How much PL experience did Slot have before coming here. Glasner himself, did he need it to do a good job at Palace? That's before we get to Guardiola, Klopp, Ancelotti and the like and their lack of PL experience before they tore the place up.. It's a big world of football out there, and if we are going to replace the manager, we shouldn't be limiting our scope based on a criteria that doesn't reflect a managers quality whatsoever.Agree. If Ange is replaced, his successor at a minimum needs to be coming in with EPL experience AND having won a trophy. Only Oliver Glasner (Europa League and FA Cup) fits the bill, not even Poch fits this criteria.
I'm sticking to my guns - he's got to go.
I agree that he’s more in a position of power in the situation, but there’s a certain amount t of PR for both sides at play, and contractually we don’t know what tools either side has. That's my point though, now that he won this trophy even a mutual agreement makes no sense for him.
Why would he lose money (compared to the scenario where he gets full compensation by waiting to get sacked) AND move on to a smaller job AFTER reaching the biggest height of his managerial career? In his mind he would be succeeding downwards.
This cup win has changed the whole dynamic of this situation. He has the leverage now. He either keeps the biggest job of his life, or gets sacked with his reputation intact+ a hefty payout in his pocket. Win-Win for him.
That post-afterglow clarity is a real bitch.
Post cup clarity.
Then they will say that we should keep him until we exit the cups, no matter how shit we are. And they may keep him until feb/march. Same fucking shit all over.Today is a reminder of the direction we're heading. Of course we could give Ange another season as a reward for the cup success but it will end in tears. It's best both parties to part ways on a high. I'm honestly fine either way, he may have earned another shot at it but I believe next season is a write off if Ange stays. It's impossible to know for sure but waiting another x months for it to 'click' would be wishful thinking
And if Jose and Conte are dinosaurs, Mancini is some sort of protozoan bacteria-like creature.4 x Coppa Italia winner (twice with Inter, 1 with Fiorentina and 1 with Lazio)
2 x Supercoppa Italiana winner with Inter
3 x Serie A winner with Inter (back to back to back)
And the 2020 Euros.
To say that Mancini has done nothing is blatantly false.
Part of the problem is that we don’t really know how much of it is the players and how much is the coaching/tactics. It’s definitely a combination of both but hard to tell who needs to go and who could be a star in the right system.he has to go , that I’m 100% sure of but I don’t know what players are capable of getting us to the next level .
We need a new keeper , new left full back , holding mid , attacking mid , 2 wide players and a forward if we are going to compete in champs league next season . We have players that are incapable of stringing 2 passes together or controlling a football , genuinely I mean it when I say I can’t remember a worse group of players , I wouldn’t pay to watch any of them . Summed up by the pass to odobert when it bounced 20 yards of his foot , just a total embarrassment . Losing at home has become a norm .
