People online seem to be rubbing themselves over the players lauding Ange and backing him.

Thing is, they've just won the Europa, which means for a lot of those in our squad, it's the only decent club trophy they might ever win, so they're all now content. But they're not fans and will only be looking a season ahead at a time

Doesn't mean, as fans, we should accept that level of mediocrity. I don't see how they can be playing so badly and be genuinely content with that.
Couple of years time some of the players will move on or retire. We as supporters are with the club for a lifetime. Ange has to be moved on imo.

I'm for sticking with Ange, mostly as there isn't anyone I really want that's available. Most of the managers mentioned are mediocre from my point of view and potentially just as risky. Get a few new players in of a proper PL standard and see how he goes.
He's been here two seasons and still the players doesn't seem to know what they are supposed to do on the pitch. That's not a sign of a good manager

That’s me logged off until next pre-season.

I’ve got good news for all you trolls and ungrateful sods.

Ange will be the manager come round 1 of the premier league next season.

And he’ll have 2 trophies for the club by then.

Can you pinch yourself and believe that the same people who - for years - have been accusing the club of not wanting to win the league, lacking ambition, being content with being mid-table etc are the same ones who are now happy with a 38 point season finishing one place above relegation .

Achievements (and the level of achievement) gets the most air time, recognition and respect from the majority of people in practically every culture known to man- the road that got them there is often forgotten about or cast aside.

Then change it now! The longer we hear nothing the worse this will get. Yes the players are off, but this needs sorted before we get into July, close to a month away.
I read somewhere Ange has gone on holiday. Well deserved etc and not right time to sack someone just after winning europa league and just before holiday break. Imo i think he will be gone when he returns from holiday and the dust settles. Looked at EPL table on SSN earlier. Our league position is a disgrace.

From Gold's lips to God's ears, but I can't understand waiting until July 1 to sack him if you need to find a replacement. 6 weeks of uncertainty? When you need to do a decent amount of summer business, no one to help direct it?
I said I wasn't going to get mad whichever decision gets made (and I stand by that), but if they fuck about with backroom staff stuff and put off the decision until goddamn JULY I am going to get very mad

Because he blew a 2-0 lead in one half against a Croatian side whose manager was in prison. Because he shipped five goals to fucking Everton. Because Literally Timo Werner outscored his side over two legs.

Nobody opposed his Cup Final week sacking more than me, but he had his chances, it was a misbegotten appointment.

(I see on Wikipedia we lost at home to Norwich in the FA Cup, I don't even remember that game tbh. I bet it was shit)
Again, I don't see how that's much different from the season we have just had. Ange was allowed to redeem himself; Jose was not.

...which is why I think there was more to Jose leaving. The club, to their credit, have never aired dirty laundry despite hiring some difficult and dodgy managers (including AVB and Redknapp in that, and especially Graham)

Injury Crisis - caused by Ange 'its who we are mate!'
Both also beat better teams in their respective finals than we did. You have to ask yourself how hard was it to beat 15th place Man utd as opposed to champions Liverpool and top 5 Man City

What a stupid hypothetical comparison to try and diminish a fantastic achievement.

So many negative people on here, it’s truly incredible how thick some people are in try to sabotage something beautiful.

Ange is here to stay 25/26, so go cry your tears.

This uncertainty is helping nobody. Other clubs are signing players to improve and we who finished 17th don’t even know who our manager will be. If an announcement one way or the other hasn’t been made by the end of the week then it’s clear Levy is dithering.
