I just wish the club would announce their decision one way or another now. It’s becoming tedious waiting for Levy to make his mind up

I actually think, quite remarkably, that he'll not sack Ange. I read something today, obvs some ITK which of course has every chance of being pure nonsense, but to me it felt in my loins....like it had some truth to it....which is that Levy isn't ready to pull the trigger because the players are have such great faith in him as a manager. Weird times....I just wish the club would announce their decision one way or another now. It’s becoming tedious waiting for Levy to make his mind up

Ange has accumulated a lot of soft power at the club because none of Levy, Lange or Munn are dominant personalities. So the inmates run the asylum in a sense.I actually think, quite remarkably, that he'll not sack Ange. I guess here's my question for this perspective.
I believe Ange bears some, perhaps a lot, of responsibility for our rolling injury crises, and that alone may be a sackable offense. But leave that to one side for the sake of argument.
Assume a different manager, Frank, Glasner, whoever, has the exact same player availability as Ange this season, both with injury, general fitness and fatigue levels, PLUS the SAME focus on rotation to prioritize for the cups. So like Ange they are hell bent for leather to win a trophy, position on the table be damned.
They have the same bodies and same focus game-by-game as Ange did.
How many points do they have over 38 games?
Glasner turns at least half the defeats into draws, and at least a couple draws into wins. I think he'd have 17 or so more points than Ange- at least 55pts for the season, which would have left us in 8th-11th place- throw in two more wins and he gets 61 points, which would have qualified us for EL.
I rate Glasner as a vastly better coach than Ange.
binned the league in jan, but rushed back two CB's in april for a pointless game, putting their careers in jeopardy....yea sounds right.

Super. We have a guy who’s glammed onto Levy like a succubus and despite having a decent eye for a player has never ever shown any talent for putting together a well-balanced team or squad. Juve got worse and worse when Marotta left and he was put in charge. And we’ve been a mess for years.Ange has accumulated a lot of soft power at the club because none of Levy, Lange or Munn are dominant personalities. So the inmates run the asylum in a sense.
This is not a slight on either of those three in terms of the job that they are actually doing. But I can't see none of them acting as any sort of counterweight to Ange in regards to the football. Or hold him and his decisions/methods accountable.
Thankfully, by all accounts, we have one such man on the way.

Tottenham Hotspurs sure has a shit show front office upper management and team manager. Shame the fans are Relegated to expect so little from such a Large organizationSuper. A guy whose PR far outweighs his track record.
both their CVs are terrible compared to Ange. iraola has won one pre season cup in cyprus then got sacked by his team in cyprus because he didnt win a game for two months. frank has won nothing in denmark or england.Fuck sake, just get Frank or Iraola in and let's get on with it ffs.
So sick of this shiiiiiit!!!
Get on with it!!!!
Those 1st games were just "new manager "bounce" clearly...then he put his stamp on the club...
If he's back next season, it will be the same thing but without those 10 games...
New manager bounce as well as opposing coaches and players weren’t used to Angeball yet.
Once his tactics had been sussed out (after the first 10 games), results and performances have been, generally poor.
He finished 5th due to the opening run of 10 games.
Once the other managers sussed out how to beat us the form fell off a cliff.
I'll happy wager that we will be in the title race next seasoneffective at finishing 17th
throwing away 4th rather than finishing 5th
fair play he won the Europa playing park the bus against some pretty ordinary/shite opposition - Ange deserves plaudits for that.
Why do you think the league form will be any better than this season, or the injury crisis we had this season will be any better? I don't think keeping him will end in anything other than Ange being sacked in October but, I can see why Levy would keep him.
As you know with our esteemed chairman, Ange will be given Children and the odd journeyman to bolster the squad when we need decent experienced players to get us up the table.
Ange lost Kane......so what? They had lost Toney who scored 20 in the league a couple seasons ago and have one of the smallest budgets in the league.
What exactly are you expecting him to do?
The win % with our best players is over 70%. The system works. After the first 8 games last season we had 20 pts and were top of the league, the next 30 games collected 46 pts, this season we collected 38 pts. So after those first eight or so games in 2023, we have been getting progressively worse in the PL.
If that trend continues we'll have even less points next season. it's worrying, unless Postecoglou is going to bin his gung ho game plan that has been clearly worked out by other PL teams, we're in trouble.
And yet fans can beat ENIC/Levy for trying to be consistent to give manager time.Sacking Ange and flip flopping into a new direction gives them the perfect excuse to not invest like a club serious about competing for the PL and CL.
Perpetual rebuilds suit the ENIC scam much more than actually winning things.
Ah the injury excuse lingers on. We were far better in the League Cup and Europa Cup when the 'system was ditched even with the injuries. The win % with our best players is over 70%. The system works.
