Yep I think a load need to follow your lead.
Even those that think the Europa win may have given him the chance to start this season understand why he had to go. League form was in so way shape or form acceptable.
To continue to slag off and disrespect a guy who led us to silverware again (and not just any silverware - a major European trophy) is the sign to me of those who can't move on.
So far Frank looks capable of leading us to even greater heights but this squad will be all the stronger mentally because of Ange and it shouldn't be underestimated or underappreciated.
Not particularly bothered how Ange does wherever he goes next but I liked how he stuck up for Spurs when it isn't cool to so I'll wish him all the best.
Ange is a legend. Shit tactician, and I wanted to kill him when he cupped his ears at our support at Stamford Bridge, but he brought this club the unity and the mentality that we desperately needed. Terrible coach, one of the best man-managers ever.
I mean I understand that someone paying big money to be a season ticket holder would have had an experience more focused on our shit league form, but still, come on man.

I don't understand this idea that Ange instilled some kind of winning mentality because we lifted the Europa.
We were absolutely fecking dire for most of his reign. Dire! Some of the worst, most resigned football you ever saw.
We sleepwalked through the Europa and won the final via an OG, in a game where we played fairly well but only managed to beat a fairly bad league opponent who were awful on that day.
The players did it, all credit to their effort in the Final, but it was against the run of Ange's entire tenure of poor football, poor tactics, poor effort, poor execution, poor everything. Even before you consider his prickishness and mugging off the fans and all else
The notion that Ange somehow made this a winning club whilst taking us down to 17th and finding a cup under his seat cushion quite by accident is ludicrous.
The difference we see installing Frank will prove it out and that's already started

However he garnered a loyalty from players rarely seen when a club is seen to be having a crisis, and this spirit got them over the line
He absolutely switched it up in the Europa run, conceded 2 goals in the final 5 matches ; Frankfurt was the most impressive of these because most had us getting smashed by them.
I do think there’s a section that are genuinely upset that it was a burly Aussie that ended our drought; the far more fashionable names like Harry (lost to PAOK), AVB (lost to Basel), Pochettino (lost to Club Brugge), Jose (lost to Dinamo Zagreb - the lowest I have ever felt as a fan), Conte (Mura) all couldn’t do it.
For that he deserves credit.
However he garnered a loyalty from players rarely seen when a club is seen to be having a crisis, and this spirit got them over the line

Hey, I know very well where the relevant body parts are thank you very much, I also know where fullbacks go too, so I think you'll find Ange is much more analogous to the mythical cattle diddler than myself.
The only part of your posting that I disagree with is that Ange will bank off that bit of luck for a long time.
No one has hired him. No one ever reported to have seriously considered him, apart from the psychotic regime in place at Forest.
Everyone saw through it. They saw the club worse an worse during his reign, they saw a lack of any player development, they saw his unwillingness to lead or ever accept responsibility for anything.
Mostly they saw him manage a top 6 club to a shameful state, with the relegation line drawn right under our collective arses. All the while he's 'ho hum I do what I do' while the ship sinks, then claims he's some sort of genius after Shaw scores on his own team in the final and we win without a shot.
That's Ange Postecoglou. He hasn't fooled anyone and the fact he's jobless after winning a European trophy shows that everyone who matters sees him for what he is.
