Debating the virtue of coached wins in 3..2...1...I've just had a peek at the Forest forum and they've learnt quickly it seems:
Mate, that's not gonna count for much when he's telling Aina and Zinchenko to fucking sprint immediately to the 10 position from kick off, regardless of who has possession or what they're about to do with it, and has Milinkovic and Murillo camped on halfway for 95 minutes no matter the opposition, with Mats Sels under strict orders to never pass the ball further than his own 6 yard box...The players will still have the defensive basics Nuno installed including team shape so I wouldn’t be surprised if they do ok while that is still baked in this season. The tail off will begin March time I suspect and continue into next season like it did with us. I suspect it will follow a similar fashion with them. I don’t expect them to be awful from day one.
Sure but a worse team would have lost to them.
They beat Bilbao in the SF and Lyon the QFs. It’s not like they lost, we definitely won that game. Solanke should have made it more comfortable tbh
Literally couldn't string 3 passes together, the one occasion we did get control of the ball and play some very basic football we got in on goal (Udogie -> Solanke) but the players looked genuinely surprised to be in that position and cocked it up.I don't hate to say it! We were under the kosh in the second half against that Man U team! We defended well yes, but couldn't keep the ball up the field or apply any pressure.
It's who we WERE!
It's who Forest will be!
I transferred Sels and Murillo out of my FPL team yesterday.
The relief![]()
If Ange decides to continue with Ange-Ball while at Forest, I give him less than 6 months before Marinakas gets rid!I don't hate to say it! We were under the kosh in the second half against that Man U team! We defended well yes, but couldn't keep the ball up the field or apply any pressure.

What’s that sound….I agree. Ange adds some attacking confidence and intent to the side he inherits. And it works for a while as the team still has a clue how to defend and organise. But over time that goes out the window and the team collapses. I agree it might take a year or so for full-on collpase with Forest
Lyon were literally 6th in Ligue 1 last season .. why are they a barometer of quality here..?
I said at the time I wouldn't be surprised if it was Ange that made their Greek owner aware that we were aware of MGW's release clause.
Fucking snake and a rat cunt if true.I said at the time I wouldn't be surprised if it was Ange that made their Greek owner aware that we were aware of MGW's release clause.
Can’t wait to see Dudu over thereThey seem thrilled.
"Absolutely awful appointment. What is EM doing? This is going to take us backwards massively. I can’t understand this appointment at all."
"f*****g hell. I don’t see this ending well."
"Done deal. Contract till 2027. Fab. Nailed on gone by Feb."
Anyway, his cult finally has a new home, I'm very pleased for them.
Here you go guys: Ange
The thing is had Sissoko not given the penalty away in the CL final who knows what might have happened, thats the thing with finals , sometimes you need a bit of luck on the night, I agree though we faced a horrid united team but we had already beaten them 3 times that season, I think Ange just had the players believing they were meant to win that night, counter that to the CL and it was like we were just happy to reach a final. As much as I hate to say it, a better team would have beaten us that night, Man Utd had basically been as garbage as us most of the season.
