I don't really see the wisdom in booting Nuno the weekend before playing Woolwich though, Ange got 1 point off them across 4 PL games managing a team with much higher stakes in at the very least not losing to them absolute fucking nomad cunts. Arteta drew his first game with Ange and the football terrorist now fully has his number, not expecting anything other than a comfortable 1-0 or 2-0 shutout with the scum scoring a FK/corner or 2.

The irony in us winning something because he abandoned his principles is lost to many.

Yet he didn’t apply that in the league. I can see a similar approach. I suspect he will be desperate to prove our board wrong.
Agree.

I'm looking forward to his first press conf there might be some clues as to what his brief is at Forrest. Let's not forget that Ange's brief when he joined us was to transform the way we played, move us away from the dross of Jose/Nuno/and Conte (only 6 months was good under Conte). In his 1st season I think he delivered on this with, his methods were there all to see from his 1st match.

I'm not so sure that's his brief at Forrest.

lol a lesser trophy...oh how I've missed spurs fans downplaying one of it's most prestigious trophy wins in the clubs history because they dislike a man or they want to be shown as being firmly planted on one side of argument
thankfully the paying fans that go to games don't share the sentiment

you can dislike him without trying to belittle our achievement

Anyone belittling our trophy win isn't a spurs fan, and I don't give a fuck how much they flounce about being called out. It's a fact, not an opinion.

They're all welcome to find their own teams forums to post on.

Anyone and that is all and everyone who writes or says 'Ange' is sucked into the sh!t of the pathetic aura of Postecoglou.

Utter bo!!ocks.

Yhe bloke's name is Postecoglou, unless you know the man personally.

This personalising people of some significance by their first name, started by reference to 'Boris' Johnson, is utter crap.

It's just easier to write Ange than Postagogluuu or whatever

You take it to seriously

Pochetino was Poch

City fans say Pep

It really is no big deal

Cheer up mate:angesmile2:

Calm down Nota

It beggars belief really and must come from the mind-set of the modern day fan.
Because if they knew their history they would realise the EL (although less prestigious than CL) is the biggest single trophy we have ever won in our entire history.

As a historic achievement the 'double' tops the list though I suspect most of the detractors weren't even swimmers in their Dad's ball bag in that era and have to rely on old Pathè News footage to confirm it actually happened.

  • Domestic case: The 1960–61 Double (League + FA Cup) is arguably Spurs’ greatest domestic achievement. Winning the league in that era was harder than any cup run.
  • European case: The 1963 Cup Winners’ Cup is the most prestigious single trophy internationally, because it was a first for all British clubs.

⚖️ Verdict:

  • If you’re talking prestige worldwide1963 Cup Winners’ Cup.
  • If you’re talking English football legacy1960–61 League Title + Double.

G’day mates. Forest fan in peace / in pieces.

What can you tell me about Big Ange’s staff?

Has he learned he needs someone better than Dr. Karl Kennedy to clear up all the hamstring injuries?

Stop holding MGW hostage and then we'll tell you.

Oh and give up your wrongful european spot to Palace too.

:avbfu:

P.S RIP all your players hammies.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I posted in here yesterday that apparently he was getting the band of Montgomery, Raimundo, Jedinak, and Burch back together in response to someone suggesting that he will succeed or fail on the strength of his coaching staff, and then this morning saw on your forum somebody saying that he is actually bringing them to Nottingham.

If that's actually true... mate.

:ange-hands-head:

Absolute Conference League level coaching staff, utterly inept, by the mid-point of last season it had begun to look as though our players had forgotten how to play football even to a basic level. People gave Ange the injuries excuse, even though there's a fair chance he caused most of that himself, but even having to field a full reserve XI wouldn't have excused the absolute atrocity that was routinely on display, players couldn't pass, control the ball, dribble, nobody was moving into space, none of them had a clue what they were supposed to do at any given time.

The only thing we looked well drilled and comfortable with, was playing it back to the keeper.

The longer this man and his staff had to work with the players, the worse things got. If you're thinking of consoling yourself with the pragmatism he found to get us over the line for the Europa, don't. He even said himself that sitting in and being more solid wasn't through any instruction of his own, seems as though that came from the members of his staff not travelling with him (Mason/Wells) and the senior players just going into business for themselves.

Yeah the fact he doesn't do any of the training drill himself and relies totally on the coaches, yet he chooses novices to do it for him again is a big red flag. Montgomery and Jedinak are both Australians who are just starting their coaching careers. Neither should be anywhere near the EPL at this stage of their careers.

I don't believe we really saw the style of football he implemented at Celtic or Yokohama, and Im convinced its because the coaches he had there were much better at getting that style across to the players than the coaches he relied on here. Frankly I'm astounded he's taken them to Forest. smh.

It also goes against what he used to say about not having a set group of staff and wanting to work with new/different coaches everywhere he goes
