Each to their own. I found the form around the CL run to be horrible, but the joy of the matches at City and Ajax made up for it and also made up for not showing for the final. This last season, same really, as the league form was a nightmare, but the joy at the end made that mean less.We can. I just shared my opinion and the reasoning for it. I get that it is a tiring discussion though.
I don't dislike Ange at all, certainly not compared to some of the people on this board that have severe trauma from him to the point where Ange would make a nothing comment and they would spin it into the worst thing anyone has ever said. I found that super annoying.
But last season was such a disappointment to me, and I didn't enjoy Ange's term as manager outside of his first 10 league matches.
I have enjoyed the start to this season more than I enjoyed last season. I'd rather have consistently good results with some promise than months of trauma followed by one shining moment.
Just don’t really understand why everything has to be a competition. Shit things are shit and great things are great. But I suppose society has placed us here to the extent we even have blind ranking as a thing. Life is very fucking strange these days.
