Think that VdV interview about him believing in his system still, and Romero comment when he was sacked as very telling.
They very much liked him, the sacking was probably right but the next appointment had to be spot on to win them over

Going for a dull spreadsheet manager was such a bad mistake
Sacking him was right only if we are flying this season. How everyone assumed it will be better than 17th with a new manager should also know it possibly wouldn't be worse with the same manager because every season is different.

On behalf of the entire Spurs fanbase we owe Ange an apology!

Fuck off back under your rock

Let me ask you this, if you knew Frank would tank this much would you have rather stuck with Ange for season 3?

No, because we'd already tanked worse than this for 7 months by the time he went.
And we were tanking for a solid year before those 7 months.

Absolutely no one survives a 38 point season beyond a club that only aspires to stay up.

There was not one shred of improvement or hope in any game last season. People kept saying "when player x comes back" and then we had a fully fit team still playing exactly like what we've just seen, if not worse.

Okay respectfully have a good evening 👍

That cretin shady Dan has come on here, bumped this thread just to start cunt offs. Get the cunt gone.

He really is a tragic bastard.

I think every fucking forum has cunted him off.

Ad hominem attacks and 0 discussion about thr topic!!

Guys I know you hate me but at some point we need to grow up and talk about things maturely, it really isn't that deep.

I don't think there is any point in regret over sacking Ange. To my mind, the fact that two managers have struggled with the same problems suggests that the fault doesn't lie with the manager. What's done is done and we just need to get behind the manager who is currently in charge.

I think we will improve under Frank. We'll get better and more consistent at both defending and playing attacking football - there were even signs this evening of that happening even though the final result wasn't what we wanted.

It always sucks going out of the FA Cup in the 3rd round but it doesn't mean that we have to consider the season over. It's really about building a foundation for next season on the back of solid defending and confident, incisive attacking football and I think by the end of the season Frank will have delivered that. We just need to be patient.

As I've mentioned elsewhere, we need to adjust our goals for the remainder of the season to getting back into the top half of the table, making the most of the CL and maybe sneaking a Europa League spot for next season as a bonus.

We need a bit more Can Do attitude around the club and that goes for the fans, the players, the coaching and management staff and the board.

Thank God for his run at Forest cause otherwise i would be really worried that those idiots at clubs board would consider bringing him back
