Let's be honest. Ange copped the next level of critique.

His size, his accent, his cough, his suit, his background, his arrogance, his challenging a losing mentality, his looking at the ground during interviews... etc., etc., etc.

He had his flaws. Many of them. But he stuck it to the media when being challenged with the "Spursy" tag and kept his word to deliver some form of success.

As much as some cunts don't like it, he delivered a trophy. I await the next manager to do so. It will not be the technician Frank.

The Berbs deal went on so long that Pav had no preseason at all. After a Summer of full on International footie.

btw I'm not saying he did a good job, I went to some of those matches the previous season and it was pretty dire. One thing I would say is he also tried to give a lot of the squad a chance.

But Levy had an atrocious Summer. It absolutely showed his complete misunderstanding of how football and transfers should be achieved. The price of everything and the value of nothing. That extra £5m? Went to Pompey to get Redknapp out of there.

Ramos couldn't turn it around, we all saw that and he had to go. But Levy 100% shafted him that Summer.

And Darren Bent? The complete antithesis of every striker we'd had and completely unsuited to our style of play. Whoever scouted him should have been lobotomised. Club record fee. And it was obvious that he'd do well at Sunderland too, so a good move for all concerned.
