Quality trolling. Unless…hang on a second…do you think?…is it possible?…no, surely not…but maybe…as an interim coach…perhaps, just perhaps…could he actually get a tune out of this squad?Reckon he's up for it...?
20 odd games left, given his first 10 for us, we could actually see a tilt for Top 5!!![]()
Except one is a Tottenham Legend who showed on multiple occasions that he had something about him, or could get a team going.Trying to sieve the trolling here but the concept of bringing back Ange is like wanting to bring back TF when our next manager produces a team that can't stick two passes together. Brainless.
Its just a couple of silly people playing man. He's part of the current mess. Compounded ths issues with Frank's change of direction..Stupid hires have killed us.Trying to sieve the trolling here but the concept of bringing back Ange is like wanting to bring back TF when our next manager produces a team that can't stick two passes together. Brainless.
That's the elephant in the room question that the Ange haters seem rather reluctant to address.Best, maybe not. Better than this mess, very likely.
What has improved under Frank?
Yes I thought he needed to go, but can't believe we would be in such a mess as we are now. Can't help thinking about where we would have been today if we kept Ange?
He had his obvious flaws, but was liked and respected by the group of players, and was on a high with the EL cup. It was also a divided fan base on this, outside this forum I felt the general sentiment was keep, and we knpw the players wanted him to stay.
To answer my own question - most likely, not in the poisonous mess we are now
You do know a person can think both were shit dont you? That's the elephant in the room question that the Ange haters seem rather reluctant to address.
Same number of wins as last season after 22 games and scored 14 goals less than last season.Fun Fact.
We have more points after 22 games this season than we did last season.
We have 3 more points than Ange did at the same point last season, and were deeper in all competitions. And Ange didn’t have Micky or Romero for most of it.Yes I thought he needed to go, but can't believe we would be in such a mess as we are now.
Once you start trying to interpret context then it becomes subjective as every person will weight various contexts differently.Comparing the two season league placings and points tallies is 'objective' really? Even though the context, circumstances, and overall performances behind those numbers are completely different every season? I don't think so somehow.
Looking at league position at the same point in the season without any context doesn’t tell the story. Last year we dealt with injuries, huge squad turnover, European fixtures, and Ange was working with a weaker squad than Frank has now. Even with all that, the underlying performances were better — we created more, controlled games better than how we control now, pressed better, passed the ball better, created more chances and despite how shit we were we actually at least had a better identity last season.
Does a structure or a discernible pattern of play really matter when the end result was still losing half the time?Pointing out Frank’s shortcomings doesn’t mean last season was flawless. But pretending the two seasons are on the same level is lazy. Ange’s football, even when it went wrong, still had structure and promise. This season what can you hold onto that suggests anything of the sort?
You're entitled to your opinion, and I disagree with it.And that cup final win wasn’t about being “less crap” — it was about delivering under pressure with a clear plan. Right now, this side doesn’t look capable of doing that consistently, we got to a final and delivered when it mattered, something that's not been done for 17 years prior and it sure as hell won't happen this season.
So sure, multiple things can be true at once — but trying to argue that last season was just as bad as this one is nonsense sorry.
And that's Ange. LolWhoever we get, they just need to have the balls to go against the grain of this current brand of template, shitball we have to watch every team in the Premier League play atm.

Wins, Losses, Points, table position are all objective facts and measurable KPIs.
Was Ange working with a weaker squad? Over his two seasons he got to use Son. Frank hasn't. He got to use Madders and Kulusevski. Frank hasn't. He got to use Solanke. Frank barely has. These are counteracted by Frank having Kudus, Palhinha as his signings. What is objectively true is that both managers have had to deal with far too many injuries for us to be able to build consistency.

Angeball was garbage with us. With Celtic, Yokohama etc not so much.
Hence.. Why I'd rather neither.
Both are crap in differing ways.
It was Ange. And that's Ange. Lol
Replying here although you posted in another thread, to prevent others getting toasty lol.
Couldn't even be bothered to tag, huh?Well you can just uninvite yourself if you don't want to talk about a certified Tottenham legend
Don't let the door hit you on your way out 'Spaniel'

Why you always so rude to everyone?
Can't you just state your case without some kind of insult...?
