It also doesn’t stop the fact that Ange is a better manager than Frank , you sack managers to get someone better in , not someone worse!
It's not like Ange was sacked because of a mad rush to get Frank.

Ange was sacked deservedly, the fact they got his replacement wrong is a related but different matter. Otherwise there's no point Frank until we've 100% identified his replacement and can guarantee whoever that is will be better.

I think you could give it to Doris the tea lady and it would be an improvement, nothing against Frank personally I just don’t think he is the right fit for the club and it’s unfair on him that they are leaving him in his post so he gets the flack and not Enic or Vinai

Ok well... Then you also have to separate the sacking of Ange to the appointment of Frank. Ange wasn't specifically sacked FOR Frank. Ange was sacked, Frank came later.

Ange was sacked because he was a disaster in the league, so yes we could do this all day.
Tbf I do get where you are coming from , Ange was getting sacked regardless , however to fuck it up so spectacularly and get it so wrong is something only we could do!
The fact we are sat here now in January seriously considering relegation and Frank has now failed to beat 2 of the bottom 3 in back to back games and is still
In charge is shocking, as much as Ange was a disaster in the league last season , I don’t think relegation would have ever been a real threat with him, yet we managed to replace a manager who finished 17th with someone every worse!
Whoever gave the green signal and signed off on Frank should also follow him out of the club

Ange is a better manager than Frank!
They really are the polar opposites of each other. I will hold my hands up and say I'm clueless when it comes to setting up a team and tactics. I was led to believe that after Ange's lack of tactical know-how, Frank was the man to put that all right. Seems that neither of them are good coaches, which from the consensus of opinion on here is, that's what we really need.
If that's the case, just bring Poch home. Just hope it's not too late to wait until the end of the season.

I was all for sacking Ange , however replacing him with Frank is one of the worse decisions of all time

A lot of people were curious to see if he could make the step up even fans from other teams but we now see he is one of those guys who are destined to manage low level teams whose only ambition is to stay in the league.

We took the risk and its failed badly. This is a strange club. The managers like ramos, ange, graham can get us over the line for a trophy and the ones who had us competitive in the league playing good football can't.

It doesn't stop the decision to sack him being right.
I've come to realise on here that basically every point you make, every view, tends to be wrong.

The board / Levy (numpties running this club) happened to share the same view as yours.

There's so much evidence now to show it was ABSOLUTELY the worst decision to make, which many at the time understood. Even many of those who were leaning towards wanting Ange out were smart enough to realise that the timing was not right.

You fall on that other side, the one's who only really care about themselves and their shallow ego's.

Has any other club anywhere, ever sacked a manager right after winning a major trophy?

Except it's not really curious though is it? The managers have to work with what they're given. We've never had a squad capable of competing on all fronts.

We all understand this though don't we? Again, lots of evidence of this..

Most recent being Ange finishing 5th first season when he wasn't in Europe. Then struggling in the second when the squad was asked to cope with the extra games without any extra quality!

Don't suppose you fancy the Spurs gig?

Sounds exactly like the club's main criteria
TBH I think I couldn't do a worse job. Put it this way, they'd be terrified to come back to the dressing room if they haven't given everything!

Almost all the defence out injured did play a part. We had Forster in goal for a few months , Gray at centre back.
