I’m sorry that you’re incapable of reading , I said I’ve seen clips on social media

Pointing out that you've made a blanket statement based on cherry picked social media bites when the actual source material is literally RIGHT THERE is... chef's kiss

Mate, it's fine we all have our stubborn biases. But really - you should watch the whole interview. It's really quite interesting whether you hate the bloke or not. Either way it's much better than feeding your prejudices through the algorithm.

I watched it all this afternoon.

I was mostly curious to see if he had any insight on why it didn't really translate to Premier League football (i.e. increased physicality, more technical levels of defending etc) but he kind of dodged the questions about that kind of thing and really seemed to be doubling down on the stubbornness. Basically reiterated the whole "this is how I do it, this is how I will do it again, I won't change", which is unfortunate because doubled with his clear desire to only take jobs where trophies are attainable, I think he's put out a massive red flag on a spot where he was probably intending to put a honeypot.

The one thing I dislike about that podcast is the weak spines they all have - they never really have the balls to criticise people in person in the way they do as pundits.

I couldn't stop laughing when I heard that. This was a man who sat there in press conferences for two seasons, saying he would never change his way of playing ever, and is now , months later, saying he did a deep dive on pragmatic tactician managers as a way to change his style and win in Europe.
He is so full of shit he needs to open a warehouse in Texas. Its demented levels of bollocks that is simply a desperate pitch to salvage another job as his reputation has NOT survived Nottingham Forest. As others have said glad he's gone doesn't cover it. Now trashing Van De Ven ....clown

Spot on. Then we get these clowns in here waffling on about agenda against their daddy Ange. Embarrassing

It’s not an agenda to know Ange is a lying self serving clown and anyone with half a brain can see he’s full of shit. You’re the dumb one if you can’t see that

Let me ask you a question.

Do you think if hypothetically Ange got sacked say in April before we played Frankfurt and we had no manager going into the final matches, do you still think we'd get over the line?

It seems like this man did irreparable damage to sections of our fanbase and seeing him on screen is just brining up mad PTSD from the past, ADS is real 😭

Mate they can't even bring themselves to actually watch the interview: just watch snippets or quotes from an algorithym that's curated to serve their existing prejudice.

It's also no surprise at all that these people are also some of the biggest bullies and anger-filled, joyless, nasty, abusive people on the forum.

Anyway - thanks for the Europa League Ange. Literally the best 4 days of my Spurs supporting life. What a fucking ride.

Wish him nothing but the best.

COYS!

More lies and distortions.

It's literally all they have to justify their bile-filled, joyless, lives.

It's interesting to read the commentary here. It certainly seems that anyone coming to the interview with a preconceived view of Postecoglou will have that view reinforced. Those who, for whatever reason, despise the man, seem to have seen it as an exercise in self serving bullshit. Those who are pro Postecoglou, seem to take the opposite view.

I'll admit to liking the man. I heard nothing in the interview to alter that view, so I'm as guilty as anybody else, perhaps, in being wedded to preconceived notions.

I think he is not as good a manager as those accused of being a cult think he is, but he is definitely not anywhere near to being close to the awful manager his detractors claim him to be.

In any event, this is the thread that just won't die, and I think that is hilarious and I'm here for it.

Think this is a fair enough take.

As for the Overlap - they are never going to be Jeremy Paxman - no one would ever go on if they were. But they get good stuff.

Just read his latest quotes about the Europa League run. He is so full of shit it's unbelievable really. If anyone really believes that load of bollocks you are very gullible.

The bit where he explained that he changed the style of play in Europe because we wanted to win, but didn't change it in the league because 'we wanted to play a different way and that wasn't acceptable" is the biggest bullshit ever. Hahahaha.

So he's saying that he discovered a winning formula in Europe, and decided to do that, but in the league we carried on losing every week playing his open system, and he decided just to keep losing and ultimately get sacked, instead of changing the style of play, winning some games and giving him a better chance of a third season..any manager with any sense would have then mimicked the European set up to try and translate that to league wins. The reason he didn't do that it because it was all obviously bullshit, wasn't part of his plan, and it was exactly as some of us and (the players) said it was. They knew he was clueless tactically and decided to throw his tactics in the bin and play backs to the wall to try and win a trophy. In the PL they went back to listening to his plan and we kept losing.

It's all so obviously lies. He's just using the benefit of hindsight to spin the story to suit him. He's a bullshit artist, I said it when he was manager and he still is now.

He also basically little bro's VDV by saying he made it out like it was their idea to change the style of Europe, so that they would take it on board easier, but really it was his plan all along.

Fucking hell. SO glad he's not manager anymore and we won't have to listen to his self serving bullshit every week.

No accountability for him, no mention of his tactics being found it after a few months and him not changing it at all. He's such a prick.
He's disgusting.

Snake oil cowboy.

I’ve never seen a manager so utterly expose how emotional and intellectually bankrupt certain fans are, to the point they embarrass themselves with absolute nonsense, it's bizarre.

I did think it was kinda ironic when he said how he’s ultimately an introvert ……… while appearing on a hugely popular podcast!

Guy is full of shit! 😂

Interestingly Robbie Williams also claims to be an introvert in an extroverts job.

Perhaps they have some ambivert qualities, but it is still a bit of a disservice to everybody on poor income trapped in their basement unable to play football or perform music due to social anxiety. True introverts.

As for all of Ange's contradictions, I think he genuinely was stupid enough to write off the league for the sake of his stubborn football style.

He probably did not realise that finishing higher in the league money was about as important to the club as the Champions League money, or just didn't care enough.

It is weird he didn't change his style in the Premier League to the one that worked in the Europa League, and even weirder he didn't keep Nottingham Forest's previous successful style first before implementing his own.

I think if he read anything about Clough at Leeds, it's basic management 101 not to change a winning formula.

He just genuinely thought his way would eventually work like Pep's and that the fans hated Conte's style.

The fans did hate Conte's style at times, but I respected that Conte got top 4 and his rant was spot on.

We needed a modern day 'Arry type manager, without the media loving narcissism, who understood when to switch styles.

Very high probability Vinai will stick with him, like he did Arteta.

The reason I'm as confident as he is that he isn't going anywhere -- and will likely be here next season (barring total disaster in coming games/spam+forest results) -- is I lolled season after season at scum youtubers, delighting in the agony they went through with Arteta's early years there and listened to them rage about Vinai sticking with him and refusing to sack him.

And now they're close to winning the title.

So it's not based on hot air.

Vinai will dig in.

Seems to be his thing.

Doesn't matter.

Fans were going bizzonkers and AFTV was poppin' off after nearly every game and the pressure was huge and he didn't crack.

He's already referred to his time there going through this, hasn't he iirc?

By Frank's demeanour he's been told he is a long term plan and just needs to get get out of this rut and he's golden.

Also, if it keeps being this bumpy and spam and forest roughly match us along the way, that will be enough.

He won't pull the trigger.

Narrator: "minutes later, Thomas Frank was officially sacked..."

Oh well.

We move on.

Next victim up.

Half of our fanbase are an utter disgrace and beyond even ridiculing here.

What a way to treat a decent human being (by all accounts) as well as a bonafide Tottenham legend... No wonder we're the laughing stock of the world. We actually, definitely deserve it.

"Supporters" had a big part to play in kamikaze'ing something that could have been a twisting point in our recent trajectory. Decided rather than supporting our beautiful club through hard times, they would rather follow other internet DORKS and make becoming anti-Ange their new full-time personality and online persona. So happy for you all 🐑🐑🐑

Really hope to see the big man do well in anything he goes onto. Has more heart in himself than what we seem to in an entire institution.

No wonder Kane and Son left this club considering some of the state of our "supporters". Half of which have had their panties well and truly pulled down by the media - YES, you are likely reading this, and YES if you're feeling like it might be aimed at you, then I can confirm that YES it definitely is and you're most likely are a raging CUCK with a secret Chelski or Gooner fetish.

Big Ange out here doing classy interviews just to mug off all of the LOW-IQ obsessed MUPPETS one final time.

But it's fun taking the piss pointing out their lunatic takes.

The best part is all they have is lies, distortions and diminishing a Spurs European Trophy win.

Shooting fish in a barrel.
