people continuously had a go at Conte for not renewing contract ...like he had a fucking choice ffs.

It's the board all along. As soon as he wanted us to bring players in you knew full well they would not renew. Absolute jokers.

Complete nonsense.

Conte moaned constantly, got backed within reason in the summer and has been outsmarted, outplayed and out,-strategised by managers who are supposedly inferior.

The excuses for him and the excusers are pathetic.

Outplayed or individual mistakes keep costing us games?
You can spend all day on the training ground but how can you prepare for all the constant mistakes , the question is why does conte keep picking those that make them , or why doesn’t he change his system

Why don't we just get rid now then. As much as i want him to stay you might as well let Poch work
I always knew conte would go at the end of the season. Im not at all eager to have poch back as i dont see it as the right conditions for him just yet… But if we slip further down this table while conte has completely lost his enthusiasm, then i do think we need to get the new boss in to start working on his methods straight away. We might even get that classic spursy ‘manager bounce’ aswell while were at it. Cant be any worse than it is now.

Because he was the DOF that bought us Lo Celso and NDombele. And Sessegnon. Overseeing £150m of wank that we can't shift, meaning Levy is reluctant to waste more money.

He always has been.

Hicthen was a gimp; between Levy and Poch he probably had very little to do with those deals anyway.

Both. You can't account for individual mistakes, but when your keeper is making one ever other game at least leading directly to a goal yet you pick him, that IS on you. When Sonny means we are playing with ten men each game and you won't drop him, that's on you.

Perisic and Son are occupying the same space every game (which I think isn't helping Son) but you keep doing it, that's on you. We'd be better playing with Perisic as the LW than Son. IMO.

Absolutely, but he's the face of it, his name will be the one we all remember for it. I know nothing happens without Levy's approval but Hitchen was inept and out of his depth.

Son's going nowhere but otherwise I agree
Yep, the board will overule any sale, even if the new manager wants to just as they did with Mourinho and Alli. They will be terrified of losing Kane and Son in the same window and they'll cling to their last star player of our last good side like a comfort blanket. I dare say the Korean commercial aspect will play a part as well. As ever all this will be to the detriment of the football side. Again.

Poch the yes man will come in now. He will then proceed to be Levys mouthpiece and tell us its a slow rebuild whilst we sign nobody.

The same Poch who kept complaining that we had built an amazing house but not bought any furniture? That we had to change our strategy if we wanted to compete? Who said it would be better to leave after the CL final as the "project" would be complete? Poch will make the same demands as Conte. He is not a moron, every manager can see the problems. Mourinho said the same thing.

This team needs high quality signings to compete consistently at the top end of the league. Now that Newcastle are on the scene there are now 7 big clubs competing for 4 spots and Levy's old strategy of buying only young (mostly foreign) talent and not proven PL/CL players does not work anymore.

Buying youngsters is fine but it should only be part of the strategy. Liverpool are always buying youngsters but when a Van Dijk, Alisson, Fabinho etc is required they just pay the money. We have never brought players of that profile to this club under this chairman. Never. Those 3 cost Liverpool £200m but we spent the same money on Sanchez, Sessegnon, Reguilon, Ndombele and Lo Celso. 2 bench warmers and 3 who are so bad that we sent them away on loan. Poch is not going to come back if that is the type of business we are going to do.

He’s taken the short term contract on big wages and laughed his way to the bank.

Levy’s fault for recruiting him though. No long term plan. But I feel he was just trying to keep Kane at the club.

Exactly. The same thinking that sold Walker for £50m (good business at the time) and is currently seeing us at £100m and counting to not replace him. And haggling over Porro; none of us know how good Porro would be in this league, but he's looked a player over there. But then Doherty looked decent enough for Wolves, Trippier looked solid for Burnley - both were signed on the basis of offensive output, which they never really replicated at Spurs.
