Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Unless someone is gonna research the whole league and do it objectively then the hot air, attitude and bluster is a waste of time......

All the articles I could find operated upon the cheapest ticket.

Neither I nor SpiderSpurs SpiderSpurs have manipulated anything here.
Sure. Im just saying what the xTicketPrice (something ive just invented) looks like based on the picture in that article.

...Do your reservations about how many are for sale not apply to every other club too then? :kanehand:

So our 'mode' ticket price is £975...... That will now need comparing to other clubs 'mode' ticket price.... Not their lowest.

i.e. Like for like comparisons or bust.

Wind your neck in, princess.

More work to be done before you get to gloat and throw around words like "bullshit".

.....But by all means DM/tag me when you've completed your homework.
Why look at the mode? You would want the arithmetic average or the mean value.
The mode is the most frequently occurring value but does not provide an accurate reflection of an average where ranges are significant. You can have massively different means and modes.

Looks like their is no plan to back Conte so how long do the rest of you think he will be at Spurs I reckon he will quit two days before next season after Levy fails to back him in the summer. I think there is very possibility of a relegation fight on our hands next season because let’s face it Levy and ENIC will never change and we will go into next season with a largely unchanged squad.

I'm tired of Spurs always leaving it till the last minute to get new signings in .. so i think we should start the search for a new manager NOW!

Paul Scholes claims Manchester United can STILL get Antonio Conte even though he recently joined Spurs... and says he 'can't get my head around' Ralf Rangnick appointment as he 'hasn't had that much success'

  • Paul Scholes believes Manchester United can still get Antonio Conte this year
  • Conte was strongly linked to United before he signed terms at Tottenham
  • The Italian was already at Spurs when United sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
  • United appointed Ralf Rangnick as interim who Scholes has questioned as a boss
  • Scholes says Conte and Mauricio Pochettino are the only candidates for United

Paul Scholes believes Manchester United should target Antonio Conte and Mauricio Pochettino in the summer, even though the first option has only just become Tottenham boss.

Italian manager Conte was strongly linked to the Old Trafford job earlier this season, but had already committed to Spurs by the time the Red Devils sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November, with Ralf Rangnick appointed on an interim basis.

But even though Conte still has two-and-a-half years on his Tottenham contract, former United midfielder Scholes believes the Italian is still an option for the Red Devils - along with PSG manager Pochettino - as they're the only suitable options.

'Conte and Pochettino, they're the ones we want,' Scholes told the Webby & O'Neill channel. 'Conte, we know he's up there with (Pep) Guardiola, (Thomas) Tuchel and Jurgen Klopp.

'You know what, I still think they could still get him from Tottenham. Tottenham fans probably won't like me saying for saying that. But you can see Conte is already getting a little bit frustrated with his squad of players - he's asking for other stuff.

'I think he could do something special here, Conte. He's got the pedigree to do it. Will we be able to get him? I don't know.'

'Pochettino - I think he's a brilliant manager. I love what he's done at Tottenham and at Southampton. PSG? We don't know yet. Give him another year or this season to see if he can prove to be an elite manager.

'But because he hasn't won anything of significance, and I think he won the French league and cup last year, he still has something to prove for me. I think he's more than capable of doing it.'

Fellow United legend Gary Neville claimed that Conte 'was not a right fit' for the Old Trafford role as the former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss was just a 'hitman who comes in and does a job for two years'.

But Scholes believes that Conte and Pochettino both lie in the class of top five managers in world football - with the other three managers among their Premier League rivals.

With regards to current interim boss Rangnick, who suffered his first defeat as United boss last week at home to Wolves, Scholes believes the Red Devils deserve the 'biggest and the best' as their manager - which the German is not.

'Manchester United is the best,' Scholes added. 'It's the biggest and the best. Manchester United should have the best available in the most important roles - and the most important role is the manager of the football club. It has to be.

'We've gone to man who is very well-regarded across Europe and Germany especially. The coaches like Klopp and Tuchel speak highly of him. But he hasn't had that much success as a coach.

'He did a little bit in Germany - won promotion and did a little bit with Schalke. But he's been asked to manage one of the best clubs in the world. It's something I just can't get my head around.

'They haven't got (the best). It should be one of the top five managers in the world. Tuchel, Guardiola and Klopp - they're the top three. They're unavailable, no chance you can get them.'

that's the Man United arrogance for you.

Still thinks it's 2008

What a classless thing to say, also presumes that Conte has no class.

This is what crack does to the brain.

“I like to be honest and always tell the truth. You know that I don’t like to tell a good lie to keep a good relationship or show myself to be very soft or too polite. It was good to tell the truth and it was a good meeting.

I’d asked the club for time to make my evaluation. They asked me after one month to have a meeting but I said: ‘No. I prefer to have another month to make the right evaluation.’ To show me who deserves to stay here."

The stones on this guy.

Conte's words

"I talked to the club and I told him what I think about the situation of the team - said the Spurs manager -. The only thing I can do is get the best out of my players to improve the team. I had an interview with Paratici and Levy, now it's up to them to decide what is best to do on the transfer market. I can only offer all my work to the club but the decisions are up to the club, not me. The last word is always up to the club. "
