Certainly hope that’s something that’s factored significantly into his decision, and that he‘s got enough confidence in the players, no matter what he‘s seen so far, for the task. Assuming Levy promised him some money too, it gets the proposition across the line.

While I still think Ten Hag would be a top manager for us - he wouldn't be right now. The guy is less of a personality and is blessed with coaching an Ajax side that'll listen to what he says; I'd wager our useless dressing room would let him down the same way they've done to previous managers.
