Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

This will either turn out great or end up a disaster.....

I am not confident in our luck though...
I don’t know, I feel like Conte is such a floor raiser in terms of the actual football. I just cant imagine things going bad on the pitch.

Very decent chance that him and Levy will fall out eventually, but I would be astounded if the football doesn't improve on the last three years for his entire tenure.

I didn’t see Nuno as “a very good coach”.
I watched all his games and found it difficult to determine any clear strategy. I saw the players unmotivated, most of them just jogging around, usually out of position.
When we were losing, I saw Nuno standing on the touchline idly playing with his beard and looking unemotional and lost.

The difference was Nuno had Jiminez with Wolves

We were undefeated in 7 games under Nuno without Kane including games against City, Woolwich, Chelsea, Wolves.

As soon as Kane came back, we just collapsed.
Sorry are you counting preseason games against Chelsea and Woolwich as undefeated under Nuno?

With the exception of City, we never played well under Nuno with or without Kane.

Always worried him and Kane are too soft as leaders. The quiet sulking types who 'lead by example'.

Could explain why three changing rooms in a row have been lost.

Think we need to up our cunt quota in the squad massively. We have one in Romero, another in Tanganga and could do with a few more.

Hugo's not exactly a captain you'd throw yourself under a bus for, is he?

Dull as ditchwater.

The nice thing about Conte is that he actually has a system, it makes recruitment so much easier. Pochettino had his fair share of transfer fuck ups, but at least he knew what type of players he wanted and wouldn’t settle for whatever bargain bin shit Levy was after.

With Mourinho and to the extent Nuno was involved, it all felt very scattershot. We were often just buying what we could. Conte will have an idea of the type of player and role he needs purchased as he has a defined and proactive way of playing football.

That's September. One month.

A lack of wind in the month meant fossil fuel usage came back into play changing the percentage and increasing the energy prices. Cause coal costs money to dig up, transport, burn and dispose of. Where as wind is just there. Except September. When it wasn't there.

Renewable energy will only increase as the years go on. And if you want, you can specify your household energy comes 100% from it if you wish.

Everything has been down to the coaches. They set the spirit, the mood, it's entirely created and fostered by them.

Thankfully Conte builds a team spirit in the same way as Poch did. Every player will feel involved, will feel bonded to each other (those he wants), merging working life with personal life. The intensity will also be relentless just as it was under Poch. Expect to see lots of meals out pics with each other again posted on social media, just as there were under Poch.

I think Kane is a shit leader, there are always other players in his teams that he takes cues from, not the other way around. For both England and Spurs for sure he's now one of the mature players and no doubt an important voice, I think he loves leading teams out onto the pitch and for sure he will be able to connect with some players with what he says but he just lacks gravitas. Henderson is a better leader than Kane and he spends most games on the bench, but he's always got a better use of words, more strings to his bow, not just chest-beating.

Lloris has it all, he'll fight with a player, talk to players, front up after losses with sensible words, always gets the mood right. Has backed every teammate and every manager, has never said or acted poorly towards his (our) Club.

As always, intelligent, thoughtful, articulate great Captain.............

Quality listen that.
A really interesting part was when Hugo touched his face the moment he said “Conte believes in all the players”

Saw from many criminology documentaries that is a massive tell tell sign when some is lying.
It’s subconscious and you can’t control it, just happens under stressful questioning.

So it’s great news Conte knows we’re shite

So are you expecting big moves in January then?
We’ve identified targets, convinced ourselves their clubs will be vulnerable and desperate to sell, that’s not the way the football world works anymore and we’ll be quoted outrageous prices and stonewalled, we’ll begin sniffing around more attainable alternatives, and we’ll see if Conte blows his stack.

Who knows. Getcha popcorn ready.
