I imagine this is a subjective measure which is meant to indicate the creation of clear goalscorers opportunities. Not going to live or die but it as I’m not a lover of stats, just felt it was relevant in making my point about needing someone with a bit of craft in midfield as, with you point out, the figures are low.

They don't at most clubs these days especially with a DOF in charge.

When you consider the amount of work the managers do now managing the first team squad, they really haven't got time to scout world football and assess the best options. I've no doubt Conte will have an input and we won't sign players he is completely against but Para and the scouting and analysis teams should be looking at players in the positions the manager has identified as needing upgrades and then producing a list of options which are discussed.
