Poch will go home to London and chill at his crip until Conte's contract expires or something happens that makes him leave. He knows that we will welcome him back with open arms so he can afford (and should) take a bit of a vacation.

Eh he's a prick but I'm not entirely stupid, he's done some impressive things. Think it's got steadily less impressive (the quality of football not improving in line with the quality of players/budget) but 2 European finals and some league titles/a EL/domestic cups is undeniably very good.
I assume the question is who could we target if Conte didn't work out? Unless I'm missing something blindingly obvious!
We totally will if Conte goes. Levy was ready to bring him back last summer.
The idea of Simeone at this club makes me want to vomit.

Conte is trying to force his way in ahead of Zidane, but now he's been rumbled, his pr team are giving it the "no, no he wouldn't".
Maybe that’s exactly what this ”story” is about.
That was after Conte said no though. We went for Conte first. Couldn’t get him then went for Poch as levy panicked as usual.

All it would mean is it costing more to sack him (should it ever come to it).

As if contracts have meant anything to Conté and as if it’s Levy’s unilateral decision.
I think what has happened at PSG has made him realise how lucky he was for finding a home at Tottenham.
If you could give him any job in football, my bet is he would pick Spurs and want to keep it until he retires.
