I love him but he should be getting more with this squad

He should have played 3-5-2 today. If you're willing to give Sarr minutes, why not start Skipp?
If you're willing to drop Dier, why not try Romero in CCB (where he was great for Atalanta), and give Sanchez the start? I'd rather see Sanchez at RCB than Dier at CCB.
Bailey should have had an early yellow as well. Ref definitely played a part in hindering us today.
Apple/Oranges. As long as we know what we're talking about it's all good. Much bigger bones to pick, and fish to fry.I wish people would stop calling it 343. It's 523 or 532. It's 5 in the back line not 3.
Just a pet hate of mine. 343 would be with one less defender. He's playing an extra defender.
OH NO what's this as an outsider shit? You commit or you get the hell out!! You drink from the cup of despair and commit!Looking at the situation from an outsider, I really don't think his heart is 100% on the job compared to the new younger hungrier managers.
You can't really have a manager who is half committed.
To compete with the competition you really have to it give 100% in in game tactics and off field recruitment etc

Conte:
"I want to be honest, I want to be very clear. I have said this to the club, I have said my opinions. The fans deserve the best. Maybe to stay in 5th is the best. Maybe 6th, 7th, 5th or 4th is the best."
He’s right. The best Spurs can and ever will achieve is 4th. Between 5th to 8th is average for us.
As long as we understand that is our role and position in this league, we don’t need to get too high or too low from what we expect.
Spurs are one of the bigger mid sized clubs. Villa could easily be where we are, West Ham could do it for a season… Newcastle will probably take our spot as the best of the middle pack now though.
Agree. Very noticeable since the world cup imo. I thought he'd come back all guns blazing but he just seems totally downbeat, worn out and going through the motions. We cant let this fester like we did with Mourinho for months on end.Looking at the situation from an outsider, I really don't think his heart is 100% on the job compared to the new younger hungrier managers.

Nah just internet wankerthonery...I am part of that I suppose
Edit: the link above was a joke btw, that wasn't the source
Not really sure what you mean? That Mourinho and Poch both lost shit games like this? Yeah, they did.
Your spot on with downbeat and worn out......the two things I've noticed for awhile now when I see images of his face, seems the the excitement and glee is gone from his face and he seems to a have aged appearance.Agree. You’re right and it’s been the same story all season. It doesn't matter who he plays everyone looks out of form. Something is not right. These are the same players we saw a few weeks ago, who were, for the most part, playing well for their country. He has had a month to prepare the rest of them and we have had a weeks rest since the last match.
Why can't they make the most simple of passes or control the ball? They play so passive and afraid, the manager needs to take the blame for a lot of this because that team on paper should be a hell of a lot better than what they showed.
One could say if you spend £400M there's no need to hire an "elite" manager like Conte. No club he's been at, mind you, has ever spent a sum like that. But if you were to spend £400M, you might as well hire someone like Howe or Potter because you're just trying to out-talent the rest of the league.Exactly but you hire Conte you spend 300-400m, you get Skrinair, you get Gardivol, you get Dumfries, you get elite players who suit his system and overpay if needed to fight for the title. As others on the forum have said we didn’t have to go that route Ten Hag and Potter where available and we could have gone a different way.
What a squad that was and one of the best times to be a Spurs fan in my life. If we were a big club we'd have taken that opportunity and pushed on.Seriously fuck off with this shit, we finished 2nd and 3rd not so long ago.
