Maybe slightly above Champo, but he is a clogger and is painfully average.

The scary thing though is he is one of, if not our main midfielder. After Kane and Romero he’s one of the first names on the team sheet.

When you compare him for example to some of the previous midfielders Conte has worked with it becomes slightly easier to see why his system absolutely floundered here.
 
At one point he was a great buy for us and our best CM. Now he's fallen down the pecking order as Skipp and Sarr have stepped up. Feels like he might be 4th or 5th choice at this point.
He was always basic, inconsistent and unable to play on the turn or in tight spaces, even from the start. He does have good games to be fair but the poor games are too frequent for him to be a squad player.

Someone will pay £10M’ish, it’s a no brainer to move him on to a team like Burnley or Everton who play dour, one dimensional football

Although Burnley now play a much better brand of football than we do!
