Conte has done the same even came back too soon such was his commitment. He had a 2 year contract he didn't have to commit beyond that.

Pretty much back to same position as pre-Conte EXCEPT our squad is better and deeper - we just need management to use it better. Can that happen in 10 games - change in tactics, better use of subs etc ?

When new manager comes need more guile and creativity in midfield. Maddison or someone of that ilk and a free kick specialist. A 2nd striker as well. World class defender so can fuck dier off. That calamity mistake he made home to liverpool was dreadful.

I thought he was great for us last season, considering the position we were in it was a miraculous recovery to get us into the Champions League. Our transfer business in the summer was good, we also got alot of praise for making signings early and backing the manager.
There were elements to our game which I really liked under Conte, considering we were mainly a 'defensive team' we have scored alot of goals under Conte. It's just a shame we have had extreme inconsistencies in defence which has led to be being pretty shite at the back.
Ultimately Conte hasn't really helped himself however if it wasn't for a crappy last min penalty he would most likely still be here.
Sometimes I wish our fans would have more patience with managers. It was crazy that had we won that games against Southampton we would have been 3rd. We are still 4th in the League.
The FA Cup result against Sheff Utd was the most demoralising defeat. The Champions League I can live with going out of, we didn't have a defined right to get to the latter stages or win it considering we hadn't been in it for a few years.
Let's just hope the next appointment will be the right one because the board isn't going anywhere so I'm just gonna support everyone whatever. Hopefully Nagelsmann, however if not just someone that can bring abit of positivity amongst the fanbase.

Read an article yesterday levy wanted to sack him face to face rather than a phone call. Flew all the way from Italy to be fired then got a plane back to go to italy. Do think stellini would have been mentioned if ok to take reins until end of season though. Probably see conte on a jet ski tomorrow in papers.
He'll end up at one of the Milans orJuve. A shite fit for us, always was but he'll do ok back in Serie A. They dont seem to mind being bored to tears.
