wow! so he was just told where hes playing! the fact he was doing all of that pressing and getting out to the man on the ball was all his own doing....pretty damning that postecoglou has not give him any instructions on how to see the game out, literally just chucked a kid on in a game like that and let him do what he wants! He needs a clear development plan from a proper manager and that needs to include a loan. Don’t see many minutes for him here with CL football on the cards.
Please for the love of God just loan him out and bring in two established CM's. Forget that we spent 35m on him, just loan him out as this kid is absolutely not ready.

We need two established top teir midfielders or whoever in charge it will be carnage. Loan now for this kid to the team that's come up that plays the most football.

There is no way you can make a judgement on this kid on this season , it's been a shitfest for everybody and here's this kid who's been run from pillar to post , asked to play everywhere without ever being given the chance to settle and learn .
Poor kid only knows losing in the league .
Give him a season or two with a good coach that can develop a young player and we will see the results .

The Ndombele , Lo Celso , Sess and Clarke window will never be beaten in my opinion . That was us trying to get to the next level , last summers window was a cost cutting exercise .
Lo Celso was a decent player just injured a lot.
Sess we will never know for the same reason. Clarke was £10m

Needs to go on loan. To a coach who can develop him for a season.
How many times has he been 5 yards behind the defensive line, playing everyone on? he was doing it a few times a game when he was at CB. Done it again yesterday for the back heel goal. Maybe coaches can do something about that although for me you should be understanding that yourself if you got a bit of football sav.
Other things in his game I’m not sure how coaches improve that much. He’s 19 not 15, Maybe coaches can smooth out some rough edges, I just don’t think Grays got many rough edges. He’s just got very basic attributes.
I feel bad for saying it as he seems like a great kid when you see him get interviewed but I don’t see it at all. If he came through our academy would anyone think he’d be good enough to make it?
