Yeah, if we play a double pivot he will start to fly…
If you’re good enough you’re old enough, the kid is good enough. Dreaming of the next Carrick with him. He is only going to get better. People talk
About his athleticism or mobility but if you can make time and space for yourself you don’t need to be running around constantly, read the game and find space.

That’s his position

Laughable that some loons still suggesting he’s a DM.

Box to box 8? Maybe. RB? Maybe. CB? Poss. DM? Fuck no
I think it’s way too early atm, although I remember completely believing Bale was a LB. I don’t think a DM, more a deeper play maker. There isn’t much difference between his games in midfield to his games in defence.

In that case it could also potentially be a back 5 with Gray one of the wide CBs and Scott at RWB. Was expecting Livramento on the right and Iling-Junior on the left

BBC have him down as LB.
England U 21 vs Checks live on C4 at 8pm.

DM is such an intricate role. He 100% doesn’t have it.

He’s been good at the back largely, he can’t play 360. Good engine though, could be an 8, RW, LB, RB who knows
