Nah, you're playing the same game as the OG poster.

There were some who understood that signing someone for back-up (who'd be as good as we'd hope) would prove difficult with no European gametime to share (and us already out of the League Cup).

Yet it was a constant battle at the time pointing out that what you at and OG poster are implying was not actually what was being said.
