The fact that we can rest Kane in less important games or we can take some pressure off him in games where he is double marked is gonna be so important in the long run.

So let’s see what he’s capable of, if he’s bad he can return to Benfica next year.
Harry can be our luxury striker. Put him on, let him get his customary hat trick then give him a rest for the second half and play the new guy. Sorted.

We're clearly benefitting from the Mendes-Mourinho relationship.

Benfica fell into financial trouble after elimination from the Europa League, and needed to sell. Both Ruben Dias and Carlos Vinicius are Mendes clients.

We wanted Dias, but Shitty came in for him after shipping goals at the start of the season. According to wiki (below), Shitty paid £51 million up front, with the total fee being £61 million.

A few days later, we sign Carlos Vinicius for a loan fee of 3 million Euros. with an option (not obligation) to buy if the player is successful.

It's clear who got the best financial deal.

Shitty got rinsed.

We get a year to see if Carlos Vinicius can succeed in a Mourinho team in the PL. I hope CV is a huge success. But if he's the new Soldado, then this has almost no impact on our transfer budget.

--------------------------------
Dias signed for English Premier League club Manchester City on 29 September 2020 on a six-year contract, for a fee reported of €68 million (£61.64 million), with Benfica receiving an initial fee of €56.6 million (£51 million), plus Nicolás Otamendi being sent to Benfica in part-exchange for €15 million, which could rise to €71.6 million, including performance-related bonuses.

Now go away or you'll have to go to hospital to get my foot removed from your ass.

Not to be a stickler, but just to confirm that if you do forcibly insert your foot into his anal passage, you will have to go to hospital too.

In many ways, yours will be the less dignified option. Whilst he can simply walk through the front doors, to the desk, you will have to hop along behind him, squealing for him to slow down as you desperately try to keep up.
