If he returned to Ajax I would sooooo be getting one of those rumoured third kits with his name on.

Question (and I don't mean this to sound cynical, I'm genuinely curious): would Inter have some kind of insurance policy in place for this? Covering his wages through the remainder of his contract in case of this kind of event?

Yes. There would also be a lot of other contracts taken out with risk management specialists offsetting the risk, it all gets a bit complicated from there on out.

I read a fascinating article about it a few weeks back. I buggered if I can remember who wrote it. If I find it I'll post it for some bedtime reading for you.

Maybe stop trying to govern how people cope with these things?

As the poster hasn't bothered with a reply. I'll further my experience a little.

My daughter was born with Ventricular Septal Defects (Grade 1) and required ligation of her Patent Ductus Arteriosus at 6 weeks of age, to stop the shunting of fluid from Heart into Lungs, assisting her Chronic Lung Disease hugely once undertaken, thank heavens.

These things happened when she was 24weeks gestation (ligation 30).

Much of the stuff I go on about was already loosely in my lifestyle, but not in sharp focus. It was from the moment she was starting to be born.

1g EPA/DHA Per Day - well established to be a threshold point for Cardiac Arrest risk (if below), personally I get mine from ALA (Flax, EPA/DHA directly is usually Murine, FCLO for my daughter was used emulsified with high vitamin butter oil, via Mums milk, later added to homemade formula a hybrid of Weston A Price's and some Alkaline Mineral focus such as extra Kelp).

The conductance of oxygen across cell walls needs a rich source of these/this Omega3 forms, this could be an essay on the varying ways that this is of huge significance, but suffice to say it was absolutely crucial to my daughters survival and miracle after miracle recovery (she was suspected Palsy at 9-18months, for example, her head physio said she was the biggest surprise of her career "she shouldn't have come through this unscathed" she said. She regressed from 'Grade2 progressive' ROP and became 20-20 by 3 though ophthalmologists said it would not be possible etc).

Minerals and avoiding key excess (refined carbs, demineralised foods, *bad fats* certain other foods/timings) were the companion to her foods, plus an alkaline paste, Calcium and Magnesium are not difficult to integrate (traces via Kelp etc Epsom Salts Baths).

The liver needs various Calcium Salts to produce it's 6Billion odd enzymes for the body to work as it's designed, yet we fear it, as we know "that causes arterial plaque" or "that causes kidney stones" Bunkum, it is simply the repair cycle, and failed completion of said repair cycles residue, when cellular damage occurs the body will most often call Calcium to plug due to it's size (*maybe, how I learned it but not sure myself*) the area otherwise open to it's surrounding terrain, then the body will try to cover with cholesterols which are needed to reform, and once repair is complete, this matter should be released (cholesterol needs HDL to avoid the mucous/mucin being overly sticky, Calcium needs Vitamin K2 to route it back to safety in the body etc).

Personally, for over 5 years now I've following core facets of the Budwig Protocol, it's just a mix of low fat yogurt (or can be a plant based protein, as long as they have plentiful sulfur rich proteins - methionine and cysteine amino acids) and fresh Flax oil 2:1 blended (the Fat has affinity to the proteins and becomes what Budwig described as water soluble/emulsified, giving the ALA huge surface mass for the colon/ileum/digestion). Very simple at it's base. This simple diet choice has seen a huge transformation in my well being, never liking oily fish, veggie then 20+years at that stage I was high risk cardiac; bad fat diet, high carbs to spike adrenaline and sugars, if I had to climb 5 sets of stairs I was totalled, then after just about a year of Budwig focus, with minerals n stuff, I could burst exercise like a teenager again (almost!), could stay in the sun maybe 5x longer before my body reached any semblance of 'burn', incredible.

Poverty in my life is not having this, for me and my children. Especially in this age where ionising forces are way out of balance.

Though you can never make yourself impregnable to Cardiac Arrest or other tragic illness, you can get as near as your current body and mind allow, I choose to do this for my children.

Sorry guys who get irate at me suggesting you are what you eat, but you are! I've seen it from a tiny body just 454g.

Not wanting to be rude but literally no one on here will read this massive wall of text...especially the medical complexity of it...some weird phrases such as ionising forces....did you use Google translate?

I'm sorry that this post makes no sense to me and I stopped reading after the first paragraph. But I just wanted to say that I hope your daughter is OK and I admire you for doing what you do to understand her condition.

Fair play to you, that's been a rough ride. I recommend checking out Food Science Babe on social media. She set it up to tackle The Food Babe who was spouting lots of nonsense online about food. She takes social media posts that try to scare monger about food and explains how they are talking shite.
We really are what we eat, we are complex machines. We may be able to function by consuming a bad diet and lifestyle but it will bring health complications. Unfortunately a lot of people would rather take medication than change their lifestyle.
Not sure why this thread has moved on to this subject so I'll leave it there 😆

It’s cool, the core message is that you can 100% minimise your chance of Cardiac Arrest (etc) with Omega3 (and other diet/supps), it’s well scientifically established but most Cardiac Doctors are shamefully guided to look away from the data, like this:

Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid blood biomarkers increase linearly in men and women after tightly controlled intakes of 0.25, 0.5, and 1 g/d of EPA + DHA

Blood levels of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) have been related to coronary heart disease risk...

Blood levels of long chain omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids reached blood levels associated with the highest levels of primary cardiac arrest reduction and sudden cardiac death risk only with intakes of 1.0 g/d of EPA + DHA…

My daughter came through it all incredibly, thanks.

Saw a study which showed Scandinavia has generally high rates of Omega3 which makes Christians situation all the more perplexing.
