You still haven't answered the question my friend...Scotland or Spurs ??
Tottenham Hotspur all day long and night and not just because I'm under no illusions my country of births national football is utter dogshite if that werent the case and they were world beaters it wouldn't make an ounce of difference it would still be Tottenham. I take more pride in my countrys rugby team at least I know they are making an effort.

If Malta ever won a competitive international game, it would be the equivalent of winning the World Cup!
As for my adoptive country, I only care about our players, in fact I tend to support whichever nation has the most Spurs players.
Even if I was born English, think it would be THFC everytime. When I think of the time, money, emotion and energy I have invested in this team, no way would I feel the same way about a national team.

I am old enough to have seen both. First year I supported Spurs they won double. Cannot remember 1962 World Cup and first time I supported England in World Cup in 66 they won it. Been downhill ever since.
No doubt I get more pleasure out of Spurs winning but many years ago decided I would never see Spurs win League or England a World Cup ever again. Still believe that but live in hope.

There is nothing wrong with having a dream and believing in it so you keep on having every faith and confidence in your's coming true. Well the Spurs bit anyway but the England one is pushing it a bit  :roflmao:

The players would probably say England. Club football is by and large a job.

Supporters of non league and lower tier teams I imagine would say England.

But I think when your club regularly plays European football and has the best players from around the world the attraction of international football is just not the same.

It’s THFC all day long for me. Rarely have England games made me feel the way Tottenham do on a weekly basis.

Definitely Spurs winning the league or Champions League for me.
I expect the majority of English born Spurs fans would say the same, but I also think it was a different story 30 years ago.
International football held a different aura then......(even Pool fans supported the England team back then and it wasnt just because they recognised where their dole money was coming from ).

Credit to Southgate, I actually like watching England again.
Certainly deserves credits and he has got some very interesting (and relatively young) players to work with in the next few years: Alexander-Arnold, Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Gomez, Chilwell, Winks, Maddison, Mount, Sancho, Hudson-Odoi, Kane, Sterling, Rashford etc.

Especially a front three of Sancho - Kane - Sterling is something almost any manager would dream of.
