So he is basically admitting that they waged the risk of Luiz having a serious head injury against losing one sub and chose the latter as more important!

Regardless of fandom, all teams need to be smarter and more conservative about head injuries. If Vertonghen and Luis both passed protocols and were back on the pitch, then the protocols need to be changed.

Another context is Toby, another player of ours also got involved in that Jan incident. So our medical staffs got their hand full. They can make mistakes.

The point is how managers not to get involved on something out . Poch clearly stated in a later press conference that he only did his job as manager, and let our medical team do their job. He even defended them with "excellent" term which the media chose to attack us.

Here Arteta clearly said he took part in decision making, so he could push his political agenda on getting more sub.
