If there are any supporters that should be rubbing their hands together with excitement at the thought of next season it's the Utd ones.
Fernandes/Pogba partnership, Greenwood, Rashford and Martial firing on all cylinders and a real possibility of CL football.
Nobody laughing at them currently.

They are still 5th.
And they still have massive issue im defence. De Gea became average and they spent fortune on overrated Maguire.

I know I'm being optimistic here, but...

Solid DM, Ndombele, Lo Celso

Son, Kane, Bergwijn

It's not like we don't have thr players. But it seems like manager doesn't know YET how to fit them in system.

All Pogba wanted was good help.

Never forget a certain Portuguese tyrant tried to get rid of him and Martial and mocked Rashford openly. Greenwood wouldn’t have seen the pitch under him either.
 
I think United will regularly dish out 4 and 5 goal pumpings to the PL cannon fodder, if they strengthen their back four and sort out De Gea they should get a bit closer to City and Liverpool.
Greenwood looks a real prospect.

Nah, OGS is Tim Sherwood with better players at his disposal. He's got them beating the sides they should be beating, eventually they'll go on another shit run and he'll be on the outs again. Their front 3 is exciting on paper but pretty one dimensional, Pogba's an overrated tit, Ferbandes looks fantastic agreed, but next season they'll be figured out and then they will be on the hunt for a proper manager, then they might be a major player again.
