Lose to Everton next weekend and surely he's done?

His CL exploits are keeping him in the job. And even then, they just know that he hasn't got a chance of winning it?

I wonder what United does with the money. They are the richest club in the world say specialized economy journalists but they only buy mediocre players.
Lining the owners' pocket.

Man U doesn't have the lure for big stars at the moment. They're paying stupid wage and fee for potential, and past it players.

Since it's ownership, it's much harder for fan to push for change unlike at Real Madrid or Barcelona. And Their fan base is too sheeple to unite.

So ManU fans are burning in anger with the owners?

The more hardcore/ultra ones are becoming minority. However, their club clearly prioritize commercial aspect, and the local hardcore fans have been overshadowed by tourist/ foreign fans. The power that be at the club just needs to appease to those tourists and it divides and kills off any minority opposition within the fanbase. Divide and conquer.

Old Trafford often got outsung by any decent traveling fan groups. Beside big occasion, the atmosphere is terrible, especially if you compare to big clubs home ground atmosphere.

So, behind ManU decline are the owners and nothing else, then. Looks like a Milan size decline, like it's going to take very long for them to come back, if ever.

But Madrid has taken a similar route. The decline has just started. And Barcelona's bankruptcy can be huge. They have a debt of nearly 1.000 million euros. The presidents go to jail one after the other. The last one was recently forced to resign.

It will be difficult to compete with arab nation-teams. In any case it all points to a decline in football for all those reasons mentioned, Stadiums becoming tourist attractions full of asians or all kind of non-europeans, teams without local players of our same race, all teams forced to play wearing pink and opening female sections (we had to start ours and we wear pink), this is the NWO decadence of football.

If Man U didn't have Fergie for as long as they did, and not being in PL, they would be in worse place than Milan or Barcelona.

PL as a whole did a good job to promote the whole league for consumers. Even the newly promoted PL club, even Championship clubs have decent budget to operate where as many smaller teams in Italy and Spain don't even have budget if not for player sale.

So, the point I am making is Milan didn't have money to stay competive after Berluscori lost his interest. Even with new owner who tried to invest in the team, they're at the lower spending scale compare to the financial powerhouses that include Man U.

Man U for all the watsefulness in transfer market since Fergie retirement, is still underspending in comparison to the income they generate. And they sacrificed the football club to be a football company for that income, just to feed their greedy owner.

Barcelona, then Real Madrid to a lesser extend has political element in play. It's not the first time, Barcelona found itself in legal hot water or financial issue as you mentioned. However, Catalonian politic meant that they would manipulate and put all the shite on certain people, club presidents in this case, then bend the rule somehow allowing fund to come and bail the club out. There is no way any private owned club would be allowed to operate with smaller debt in the first place without whistle blowers bringing it to light.

All in all, Milan Barcelona, Madrid, the clubs have strong connection to the local, while Man U is just a name for a football company to milk money from whoever willing to pay. Once the money is dried up, believe Man U would do a Leeds, not just lingering waiting for another change like Milan Barcelona, Liverpool... in their dark years. This is why they're trying to push for those reform of English league and European Super League, to stay in contention of highest level without merit of current performance.

What did Leeds do?

What did Leeds do?
Leeds until their relegation was a team that could challenge and win trophies. Then they decided to get carried away spending money they don't have, thus finding themselves in new water to fight to stay alive after being forced to sell their best players. They built up too many rivalry and too many enemies thus the pressure cooking joy from opposition to see them relegated. Leeds couldn't hold out and get relegated. They even got relegated to third tier division. It took them 1 and half decade to get back into PL.

Difference between UCL opposition and EPL opposition is EPL opposition know their players and know their tactic. Ole is one of the most inept
