Hopefully they'll dither a bit longer about sacking him ike Chelsea did in 15/16 and they're out the picture when they pull the trigger.

Nice we played them away at peak shitness. Hopefully they'll be better when our rivals go there.

Woodward's record is to wait until the bitter end, until top 4 is mathematically impossible or the season is passed.

Lots of people questioning Mourhinio, and possibly rightly.

Whether he goes quickly or not, whoever joins them has to work with the squad they have.

Just looking at the defensive options - Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly were meant to be ManU future centre back pairing but Mourhinio even put Ander Herrera in a back three because he doesn't trust them now even though I think Mourhinio brought in both Lindelof and Bailly. Then there is Phil Jones (who is ok but not a top CB) and Chris Smalling (called out by Southgate as he cannot pass out from the back, and an aging Valencia.

Shaw might be coming back (if they get in a decent manager) and maybe Rojo is ok - but Spurs defensive options are so much better and so are Liverpool's.

So that's a lot of new players to bring into to get a competent defence.

Then there's how to play Pogba - looks often that unless the whole side is built round Pogba its not good. And when they do drop Pogba, the side works better, but generally lacks enough top class players. Another problem to sort out.

ManU can bring in a manager to provide a short term fix, but at some time they need to find a manager to rebuild the squad, which could take a few years.......with luck !

Still, at least they can console themselves with a bit of retail therapy, the new pink 3rd kit is released today.

Excitingly, it features a new reworked performance silhouette, which is nice
