United have fallen into the Liverpool in the 90’s trap, thought that being a naturally huge club would mean they don’t have to run things well. Glazers are both parasites and also shit at doing their job.

It used to be the 1bn debt the Glazer’s threw on United in the purchase was the worse thing they done, but now it might be their total lack of vision and understanding of football that is worse. Everything about their ownership is amateur.

United stood over the premier league as a giant, a colossus that could buy anyone and do anything, now they look not that much more attractive than West Ham. Crazy fall of such a huge club.
The article about the state of their training ground was very telling. Ronaldo had to tell them to sort the pool out as it hadn't been maintained since he'd left. Their commercial lead has dwindled as a result too.

How the mighty have fallen.

Their problem is they keep trying to mend the raft while in high seas. They need to understand their squad is bloated and poor and there's no reason to splash more money to clinch 6th. Take the hit and finish mid table for two seasons to rebuild

ManU problems with an aging stadium, poor squad needing significant revitalisation and not a lot of credible leadership at Board level starting to be reflected in share price.

Market cap decrease 1.3 billion since last October ......

They'll go out and spend a load now to try and change that I bet.

Possibly, but what they really need to do is to deal with the debt and interest rate they are paying on it

That way they would have more money to spend and support share price.

Not sure if true but heard Glazers borrow money and lend on to Man U at a higher interest rate .......

United fans must be bricking it at the moment. Even the players they are linked with other than de Jong aren't really players that will get them back to where they want to be. Signing players like Antony and/or Timber aren't going to suddenly get them back into the top 4. You love to see it.

'Every penny has to go back into the club until it becomes attractive again': Gary Neville takes another swipe at the Glazers for turning Manchester United into a 'GRAVEYARD' as the club find themselves competing with Brentford to sign Christian Eriksen

  • Manchester United and Brentford have offered contracts to Christian Eriksen
  • United's is more 'financially lucrative' but the midfielder is unsure about moving
  • Gary Neville believes it is the Glazer family's fault for making United unattractive
  • The Red Devils' owners have taken £11million out of the club in dividends today
  • Neville believes they should invest it in the squad, training ground and stadium

Gary Neville has launched another furious attack on the Glazer family as Manchester United battle to sign Christian Eriksen.

The Danish midfielder is out of contract at current club Brentford, with both the Bees and United making him offers for next season.

According to Sky Sports, both proposals are 'appealing', but the Red Devils' is believed to be 'more financially lucrative'. However, Eriksen is said to be happy in London and unsure about relocating.

It appears that Neville thinks it is shameful that a club like Brentford could have the chance to beat United to the signing of an elite player.

The United legend believes it shows how the Glazer family have made Old Trafford an unattractive prospect to targets and it is 'demoralising' to see them take £11million out of the club in dividends when investment is needed.

That’s why Dividends have to stop for a period,' Neville wrote on Twitter on Friday morning as he shared a picture of Sky Sports' latest report on Eriksen. 'Every penny has to go back into the club until it becomes attractive again.

'The club has become a graveyard for players. Culturally for owners to take [money] out of a poorly performing business is demoralising!'

Earlier this week, Neville said 'it isn't right' that the Glazers are earning such a significant payout when the team, training ground and stadium are in desperate need of investment.

United were once considered the dream destination for many players as they were involved in the race for the league title nearly every year.

In 2008, when the Red Devils won the Premier League and Champions League, Brentford finished 14th in League Two.

However, the two clubs finished just 12 points apart in the Premier League last season - Brentford's first campaign in the top-flight in 74 years.

Eriksen proved to be a superb signing for the Bees in January as he made his return to football after suffering a cardiac arrest at Euro 2020 seven months previously.

The 30-year-old showed his class with a number of impressive displays that helped the team pull away from the relegation zone. He provided one goal and four assists in 11 appearances.
