January looks tough. No doubt.

With the teams left in it, that EFL cup would be well deserved and even more motivation to finish top four as it gets you into the conference league again!

I'm sure they'll manage to raise their game against us ... Everyone else seems to!

It's happened year on year... It's so often 'the best time to play them' as they have injuries/poor form etc, yet it's NEVER the best time to play them... 1982 was a pretty good time to play them mind you!!
They will but that helps us over three games close together. Are they going to raise their game three times in a row? Where does that energy come from? It’s likely to compound any minor injuries they have and leave them worn out.

Because of the postponements we’ve had we aren't in as bad a shape I don’t think, and I reckon we can outrun them.

In terms of dealing with fixture list, we need to rotate wisely.

Possibly:

vs Chelsea 5th Jan
Lloris
Emerson Tanganga Dier Davies Reguilon
Skipp Lo Celso
Bergwijn Kane Lucas

vs Morecambe 9th Jan
Gollini
Doherty Tanganga Rodon Sessegnon
Ndombele Winks Hojbjerg
Bergwijn Dele Gil

vs Chelsea 12th Jan
Lloris
Emerson Sanchez Dier Davies Sessegnon
Skipp Lo Celso
Lucas Kane Son

vs Woolwich 16th Jan
Lloris
Emerson Sanchez Dier Davies Reguilon
Hojbjerg Skipp
Lucas Kane Son
