Tricky.

Palace have the guile of a newborn, but we need to be on the front foot, even if it's away. Really hoping for a 0-4 thumping with a Kane hat trick and assist to Son.

That said, it will be a squeaky bum 0-1 90+2 own goal off Benteke's ass, somehow. But 3 points is 3 points.

COYS!

i wonder if players get complacent for these types at all.... 'hell, were leading the epl, just qualified top of group..... its kind of us to grace them with our presence' sort of thing..... i suppose if the coachtalks about doing well here to confirm the team to start in the next 'big' fixture (lfc) but then that also runs risk of reducing significance of this game? Even im feeling a little blaise

I wonder if this is an ideal game for Bale to start. Stevie B obviously needed for and will start on Wed. Just think it might be a tricky one and Bale could unpick the lock. Hope and assume we'll be more on the front foot in this one as they'll surely sit in.

Hmmm...a potential banana skin this one. No complacency

I'd be shocked if Bale started, Jose clearly doesn't fancy him..

If Stevie is rested for Wednesday's marathon then I can see Moura playing, he was pretty impressive last night.

If Bale is starting to find his range with free-kicks then suddenly he becomes the extra threat Jose wanted, not sure if he's yet at the level to start EPL games but against a team like Palace, who will give away free-kicks in Bale's range, just maybe he enters Jose's thinking.

We haven't had a decent dead-ball specialist in a while, it's a huge weapon for any side, when Bale was signed I'm sure his skill with a dead-ball was a key reason.

Not a starter Sunday for me but getting ever closer.

If we play Caledor the Dragontamer & Lorath Lord of Talsynthat should neutralise most of his Chaos Orcs unless , of course he plays An'ggrath the Unbound - The most powerful Bloodthirster of Khorne, then I’d start with Alaric the Mad upfront

At least the lockdown has spared me the trip over to the ghastly hovel that is Selhurst Park the beer is crap the pies even worse,
4 - 0 to Spurs the last goal being scored by that birdie that they fly every home match.

JM may start Rodon to protect Toby but more likely this same squad for both games:

LLORIS Hugo
AURIER Serge
ALDERWEIRELD Toby
DIER Eric
REGUILON Sergio
HOJBJERG Pierre-Emile
SISSOKO Moussa
NDOMBELE Tanguy
BERGWIJN Steven
SON Heung-min
KANE Harry
Substitutes
BALE Gareth
HART Joe
RODON Joe
LO CELSO Giovani
MOURA Lucas
DAVIES Ben
VINICIUS Carlos

It's tough to pick a team as we need to win but have Liverpool a few days later. I think it's a game for Bale to start as he certainly won't play against Liverpool. We just need to win this game and keep up the momentum.
